The Dark Knight 12 Film Clips for The Dark Knight on iesb.net

"Its about sending a message" You can definately hear and see him taking out a phone and sending a message. Sorry if this has been said before I've just come on this thread and havent looked at any past pages.

Ohdeargod, Odeargod...... The Roof Scene! I Should Not Be Watching This!!!

Wow, Baadshah2, I really don't know what you're talking about. Maggie was fine.

IBN, just watch them all. if you want, we can tell you all the secrets and the ending. how about that? hhmmmmm..

go ahead....watch........give IN.

Watch them all, its fine. They dont give anything major away, if they did, I would be kicking myself hard right now, I am keeping away from all spoilers (kinda dumb being in the spoilers section) The clips are safe to watch.

Interesting clips. Some of the dialogue is a bit iffy, but for the most part it looks pretty good. Bale seems to be mailing it in so far, though. He just doesn't seem to have any intensity to him. And I don't think he's fighting any better or faster than he did in BEGINS. It's nice to see Gordon and Dent and Batman on the roof of police headquarters. Some of the interplay between Bruce and Fox feels a bit "redone" from BEGINS.

I thought the same thing about Bale, but his delivery probably works within the context of the full scene.

Ledger's going to steal the show. I can't wait to see what he did. :D

Well, all eyes will definitely be on Ledger and I guess he will steal the show in the eyes of many, but to me everyone (specifically Aaron, Bale, Maggie and Caine) is spot on so far..

No disagreement there.

Those 12 clips in particular (some of which involved downtime with Maggie and Alfred) did not really call for intensity. Just wait until you see the initial confrontation between Joker and Bats early on in the film.

What is the initial confrontation? Or should I not be asking. Damn this site!

You gotta admit, though. The Joker's looking good.

just watched 12 ... maybe it's just how it's cut, but Batman shoots the door he's right in front of, then he's traveling up some ramp in a different area, then breaking through the glass he was just shooting at? it's like it's missing where he goes through the first area into the second.

watching clip 6 ... when the hell does he put his cowl on? he has no cowl, and then he does. and we've seen a shot of another perspective of him falling from that building ... nope, he's just gliding all of a sudden.

I really hope these clips are just cut the hell up, because if this is in the movie, it's going to annoy the hell out of me.

They are cut up, in the TV spots you can see him putting on the cowl on top of the building, then his cape expanding, which you dont see in the clip. These are just rough edits I'm thinking.

I'm wondering. Is it possible that there are two rooftop scenes? There was a picture from the TDK calendar where Gordon was waiting on the roof and Ramirez(?) was bringing him coffee.

That, and it looked as if the three were already in a pact with each other during the "We need Lau back" clip.

based on the music in the background, I'm thinking they aren't. Here's hoping they are, because I'm going to *grown* in the theater if they aren't. Hopefully that's why WB pulled them from IESB ... Nolan saw them and was like "what the **** with all the cuts where nothing makes sense"
