the Pats are not in a big market.....People that live in Mass probably couldnt find Foxboro on a map, but they also have a great owner in Bob Kraft

People have been using that excuse for a long time....it use to be against the Cowboys, now its the Pats......New Team, Same Excuse.....

 What excuse is that? Some Owners are inept and bad at making decisions, some are in it to just generate money. That is my point, again I stated nothing about the Patriots not deserving to win.

But they have spent the money and draw the people...they have become a bigger team due to that. The originally were not.

The Bills and 49ers could do the same, but the Pats are smarter and do what is neccessary. I give them props for that.

I agree they are scary and can ruin some seasons. I just hope they don't do it to us. We get that at home, so we should have a major advantage (though the offense scares me since our defense sucks).

Want to be a bigger market team? Spend more money to draw people in. If you are not willing to do it, then don't whine about other people who will. Buffalo could be a bigger market team, they just are not willing to do what is neccessary to do so. That is their problem, not Bob Kraft's.

Buffalo will never be a big market....you can just create a big market. NY, Philly, LA....those are big markets. Until Buffalo gets a new stadium they can't generate more revenue so they can go out and sign FA and resign current ones. DO you think they really wanted to let Willis, Clements, Spikes, etc. go? They don't have the money to resign these guys so they have to rebuild there team through the draft each season.

Again enough with Bob Kraft I never stated anything against him nor the Patriots.

The Bills cap situation sucks, but they can become a better team. There is nothing wrong with being good from the draft. The Steelers have been a good team almost every year, and they bring in hardly any big names...in fact, I can't name 1 player they brought in outside of the draft and trades.

The Bills just are not as smart with their $$$ as the Steelers or other teams that use similar methods. If they were smarter, they would be better. I apply the same logic to my Browns. We could be at the Steelers level, but we were not as smart as them during the Butch Davis years. Only now are we being smart.

Memphis........I REFUSE to believe that you are dumb enough to believe what you are spouting off in here.......

believe it...he has some kind of problems

49ers get rid of nolan, hostler..and that piece of crap receiver darrell jackson he ..sucks hard

My point about New England is that they became successful...and by virtue of that success, increased their revenue stream dramatically....thus having the money to spend to bring in free agents, build the new stadium and all that good stuff....

He has figured it out. They will dink and dunk and run more. But they will also get some looks down field on occasion. Meanwhile....our DEFENSE is holding us up. Manning doesn't have to take the whole thing on his shoulders anymore.

That doesn't make sense, he had to take the whole thing on his shoulders when he had better receivers but now that he doesn't have said receivers, he can lay back and let the TEAM as a whole do it for him? If anything he has even MORE PRESSURE now then he did previously. He has to carry the team along with ADDAI.

If you don't want me or others to act like Cauldwell and Gafney are practice team players, then don't act like they were Hall of Famers. Gafney was released by the Texans last year, and as I said, Cauldwell can barely make an NFL roster. Brady made them better, if you don't even watch football you can figure that out.

You make too many excuses, when I team or player is struggling they are struggling. Brady has struggled in the past. It's ok to admit your team is struggling or a player on the team you follow is struggling? You guys throw #4 under the bus because he is a former Patriot. What about #18? Nope, instead blame injuries.

^to BL's post

Plus, everyone wants to play for the team that has a chance to win a SB every year.

?

The Patriots are now without a doubt a BIG MARKET team. In the past, no.

Certainly now they are.....I've been to Foxboro back when I was in HS ....I won Pats tickets off a radio station contest, this was back when they had Bledsoe and were playing in Foxboro stadium....

Just about everyone in my family loves all this football, but I've never seen more than 3 minutes of a game.

There were actually bleacher seats in the stadium man, I used to go every weekend. Tickets were so easy to come by.

This was back when you could walk up to the gate and get tickets....those times the stadium was 3 quarters full at best....Bleacher seats are inhumane....

The best was when the games weren't even on television because there were not enough tickets sold.

But the difference is The Steelers usually draft the right players and resign there other current players.

That was kinda my point in the beginning. The Patriots have a great owner who spends money on important things like scouting and such, whereas there are other teams that are just looking to generate revenue, or have owners that simply can't make smart football decisions. That was what I was talking about in the beginning. Football to a degree has some watered down teams.

As for the Browns....Derek Anderson is saving my FF season. I hope to good they keep him and keep Quinn on the bench.

People better watch the Jags, and the Texans......they love screwing good teams at the end of the season........and they are notorious for it.

Texans defense is pretty damn good.

In my eyes, Montana is the best QB ever, but I must say, Brady is coming close to overtaking him. That man is amazing. And, he is still a young guy, with 3 rings already with a great chance at another this year. Simply amazing.

I totally agree with you, but I also believe that Brady will overtake Montana.....and will set records that will not be broken for another 3 decades....

Imagine if Brady had more weapons before this season....they may have won 5 Rings

Former Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick turned himself in to U.S. Marshals Monday to begin serving time on his sentence to be handed out in December for a dogfighting conspiracy charge.
Vick was transported from the U.S. Courthouse in downtown Richmond, Va., to a regional facility.
Vick and his associates pleaded guilty over the summer to a federal dogfighting conspiracy charge. The pro-football player was suspended by the NFL and scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 10. He faces up to five years in prison.
Click here to read the report in The Virginian-Pilot.
Vick's rural house that was a focus of the dogfighting case was recently sold by the fallen NFL player to a developer.
The developer planned to hold an open house of the Surrey County, Va., property before auctioning it off, according to The Virginian-Pilot, citing realtor Kyle Hause Jr., who has been involved in the deal.

so why are Dallas fans discounting the upcoming game with Green Bay??.....the Packers have a pretty decent QB, if you guys haven't heard.....some guy named Favre....
