Bottom line is... Colts win that game with Harrison and Clark that's all there is too it. Give the guy a break... he is the one setting up his protection... he doesn't exactly have pro bowlers on his O-line. He is the one calling the audibles... he puts his players in position to make plays... and they make them... so now Manning gets no credit because he looks like a bum under pressure? Yeah who doesn't... Brady's protection has been unbelievable year in and year out... I think the O-line was the most instrumental thing to the success of the Pat team in 03 along with that defense. 2004 Brady really took a step into all time greatness... but then again so did Manning in 2006. I think it was even going into this year. But now with these unbelievable weapons Brady has, he is slowly separating himself... but the Colts at full strength right now and we could be talking about them going undefeated.

I'm not saying he isn't a great QB, he is. One of the best. But in that game he just couldn't get it done when it mattered and Brady did. We've seen Manning's best year ever when he had his weapons and he set the all time TD record. Now we are seeing Brady's best year and he is on pace to blow out Peyton's. Peyton turned the ball over on the decisive possession against the Patriots, he couldn't get it done when the game was on the line, thats the bottom line. When things aren't perfect for Manning, if somebody is hurt or whatever, he has trouble, Brady does not.

I know Destine........Destine Johnson. Went to highschool with her back in the day. :yay: :woot:

Was she hot???

On my point... Titans are in deep sh:tz.... they still got SD, @ KC, @ Indy although Indy could be locked into the two spot at that point which would help. Clevland's toughest game is @ Arizona... so you get my point. What is the first tie breaker for teams tied for a wildcard in separate divisions? I believe its conference games or is it common games... which include the Jets/Texans/Bengals/Raiders... so obviously huge games coming up.

2007's Moss/Welker/Stallworth >>> 2004's Harrison/Wayne/Stokely

Plus you are basing Manning's career off that performance... "he never get's it done when it matters or he never gets it done when everything isn't perfect"... he obviously has been getting it done with half his team out.

I'm not saying he can't, I'm saying he has trouble. Brady led his team and won 3 Superbowls with receivers that maybe besides Branch, you would never know about otherwise. I mean honestly, and I don't want to take anything away from the guy but I pretty much am, before coming to the Patriots, who the **** is Wes Welker?

Timetable on Harrison's Return for Colts Remains Uncertain
Polian says receiver's knee is stable, healing, but inflammation keeps him sidelined

Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian said Monday that Pro Bowl wide receiver Marvin Harrison's injured left knee is sound, stable and mechanically functional, describing it as a "minor sprain" along with a "pretty big blow" to the bursa sac.

But until the inflammation recedes there is one thing to do: wait.
"It's healing," Polian said. "Mother nature heals at her own rate."
Coupled with injuries on the offensive line, Harrison's absence has been increasingly glaring of late, including in Sunday's 13-10 win over Kansas City. The Colts had a season-low 163 passing yards, part of a downward trend since Harrison was injured in Week 4 vs. Denver.
Polian could offer no timetable for the 12th-year veteran's return. Nor could coach Tony Dungy.
"We're hoping for this week," Dungy said. "Realistically, maybe Jacksonville (on Dec. 2), but we'll see."
Polian did offer the most detailed explanation yet on the injury, which occurred when Harrison's knee was hit from behind while he was blocking for running back Joseph Addai.
Polian said the bursa sac "burst and it got fluid all over the knee. That's it, simple as that. The ligaments are fine. The bursa is healed up. The inflammation hasn't gone down."
The bursa is a fluid-filled sac that functions to reduce friction at points where muscles and tendons glide over bone.
Polian said Harrison's injury is different from the knee injury that sidelined safety Bob Sanders for 12 weeks last season, but the effect is not. In the case of both players, Polian said, the trauma of the injury caused the knee capsule, a complex of fibrous material, tendons and ligaments that surround the inner joint, to become irritated and inflamed.
That debilitating irritation and inflammation can linger long after the injury has healed.
"For a player who makes his living with his legs, i.e. Bob and (Harrison), and he more than Bob to a certain degree, if you don't have your wheels, you're not there," Polian said.
"It's coming. He told me today it's the best it's felt in a while. So we're all hopeful and he certainly has not had any setbacks. The arrow is up. But in terms of can I tell you when it's going to be? No, I can't. He can't. No one can."
Polian resolutely refuted a report of a couple weeks ago that characterized Harrison's knee injury as chronic and even career threatening.
Harrison was not available for comment. He has missed five of the six games since his injury, playing about half the offensive snaps in the Colts' sixth game at Jacksonville, where he caught three passes for 16 yards.
His absence has been exacerbated by injuries to wide receivers Anthony Gonzalez (hand) and Aaron Moorehead (back) and tight ends Dallas Clark (concussion) and Bryan Fletcher (calf).
In the six games since Harrison was injured, Reggie Wayne, the Colts' other Pro Bowl wide receiver, has caught 42 passes for 638 yards and three touchdowns. The other six wide receivers and tight ends combined have caught 60 passes for 567 yards.
Harrison normally occupied a cornerback and at least some of a safety's attention. Teams played their safeties deep to prevent the over-the-top pass to Harrison.
More recently, a safety has been cheating up to help out on the Colts' running game. The Colts have rushed for 75 and 72 yards the past two weeks against San Diego and Kansas City. Those are season lows.
"We did get a lot more single safety and a lot more of them coming down into the box," Dungy said of the Colts' victory over Kansas City.
"If that's the case, then it's always been that we've got to throw and force people to double-cover our outside guys."
That would be a lot easier if Harrison were one of the outside guys.

The second coming of Wayne Cherbet except even quicker and niftier... I knew this after seeing him catching balls from Cleopatra over in Miami.

And it sort of takes a team to win a Superbowl... if Manning had a defense some of those years the outcome may have been different... now the defense if finally coming along and they pulled even with the Pats up until now... its just a shame the the injuries are going to derail them this year... I don't see how you can argue that if the Colts were close to 100% they'd most likely be undefeated. You can't diminish the impact a Harrison/Clark combo would have had in the N.E/S.D games.

What are we to say that Harrison would have had an impact? What other games that he has played has he had a great impact on this season? Theres no way he could have had a bad game, its for sure he would have been game changing? I don't buy those excuses.

There are no excuses for blowing a ten point lead like that... Colts didn't get it done that's all there is too it. But the idea that the Pats are just so far and ahead away of the Colts in almost every facet of the game is nonsense... I don't buy Brady being so far and ahead above a Manning... not yet. Moss is bailing Brady out with some of these throws. All I am saying is that if Manning had a Harrison/Wayne/Gonzalez AND a left tackle the Colts would be having almost as much success as the Pats have had this season.

He's led the Patriots to 3 Superbowl wins with half the offense that Peyton has. Now that he has good weapons on offense, we are seeing what he can really do. What other way can you say it, he is on pace to blow by Manning's record. What more will it take? If the Patriots finish the season like it looks like they will, Brady goes down as the best QB to play the game already and he still have a while left to go in his career. We are watching history in the making. Theres only a few times that something like this comes along where you know you are watching something incredible in sports. Brady and the Patriots are one of them.

Why all this talk about who is going to win the Super Bowl? We all know that the Cowboys are going to win it all.

GO COWBOYS!

Agreed. People can say what they want about the Pats, but what they have done is amazing and this level of play is something I really appreciate watching. I have had more trouble scoring in video games than this team does in real life. That is rediculous.

I don't get why you keep going back to that. They beat the Colts and the Cowboys, two of the best teams in the league. What, do they have to beat the Packers too before you accept that they're a great team?

Mee FTW.

I won't respect the Patriots until they play every divsion leader in the league.......on the road.......twice.

God bless ESPN, a segment on "what will prison be like for Michael Vick?" I mean do they really need to go out of their way to tell us that it'll be prison beatings and rape?

Pac Man at it again?

Report: Pacman, Haynesworth in altercation

Titans coach Jeff Fisher confirmed that the team is looking into an apparent weekend altercation between suspended CB Pacman Jones and injured DT Albert Haynesworth

The incident allegedly took place in Nashville prior the Titans departing for Denver, though a police spokesman said no altercation was reported, but they would look into the matter. Haynesworth made the trip, but was ultimately ruled inactive, while Jones continues to serve his one-year suspension. This won't help Jones' chances of returning to the team. Nov. 20 - 12:21 pm et

I don't see why people make such a big deal out of Harrison's injury. Is he a great reciever? Undoubtedly. Should the Colts really be struggling so much because of one reciever? Hell no.

Hell, they shouldn't be struggling that much because of five or six injuries. They are the Superbowl champions for godsakes. If they are really so dependent on those injured players then the organization has a whole different level of problems than losing a couple of games.
