Jimmy didnt build those teams, $$$ did.
Look at the Dolphins after he left.

Chargers Acquire WR Chambers From Miami
The San Diego Chargers, looking for more offensive firepower, acquired wide receiver Chris Chambers from the Miami Dolphins, sources told ESPN.com's John Clayton.

Terms of the deal weren't immediately known, but the Dolphins and Chargers are expected to make an announcement before the NFL trading deadline closes at 4 p.m. ET.

Chambers, who made the Pro Bowl in 2005, has been held without a touchdown in 2007 for the winless Dolphins. His best season came in 2005, when he caught 11 touchdown passes and had 1,118 receiving yards.

Currently in his seventh season, Chambers has 405 career receptions for 5,688 yards and 43 touchdowns.

What the ****?! :whatever: :( :down

Minnesota's stupidity and love of Herschel Walker built those teams, but Jimmy did damn well to draft and position the pieces.

I'm not predicting the future or anything, but I will say this. The Pats/Colts game will probably be the hardest fought contest for both teams and the score will more than likely be close in the end. That being said, I just want to point out that in the last meeting between the two teams (AFC championship game), the Colts barely beat New England. A Patriot team that had no Adalius Thomas, Junior Seau, Donte Stallworth, Wes Welker, Sammie Morris or Randy Moss. They had recievers like Reche Caldwell who dropped at least 3 touchdown passes. The Colts might have beaten last years New England Patriots, but this years roster is vastly improved in comparison.

To quote an idiot: "Getha popcorn ready."

omg how stupid are the Fins? serously teams will now be stuffing 8 in the box knowing that Cleo has nobody to throw to, This has Camerson idioticy written all over it

The Dolphins gave up their best WR?

Typical.

Also - Herschel Walker belongs in the Hall Of Fame.

Cameron must have forgotten that he's not associated with the Chargers anymore. He doesn't need to help them. We might as well start letting John Beck get some time. It'll be three years minimum before I'm able to be excited about the prospect of a good Dolphins team again.

Good Grief.

They're were rumblings of moving Chambers back in August because of the cap hit for next year (7M cap charge to go along with a5.1M base salary), but the expected result was that they'd move him in the offseason, barring an incredible performance this year. I'm of the mind that they could've gotten a second round pick for him in the offseason as well. Outside of Cameron's apparent affinity for San Diego, why move him now. As of what's been reported now, what they're getting back is hardly overwhelming.

wow; great for san diego. chambers is an animal.

They might as well replace Ronnie Brown's number with a bullseye. The majority of what little help he had to take pressure off the running game just caught a plane for southern California.

I guess this means the punt returner starts at receiver now ...and low and behold, just in time for the ****ing juggernaut known as the Patriots to show up. Oh, I can't wait.

I actually think Miami is going to play the Patriots pretty tough, I would say this is the best defense they've seen all year. Is that ridiculous for me to even type?

Chris Chambers was overrated. I mean, here in Miami, whenever you drop something it's called "Pulling a Chambers" for a reason.

If I was GM, the Dolphins would be flying.

Madden has proved that to me :(
Clearly the Dolphins are worse off for not returning your phone calls, eventually the restraining order will be lifted and you can once again start emailing them your suggestions.

I'm really not happy about giving up a 2nd round pick for him.

But hey, we can we always bring back Ricky.
