It kind of a hope, because as good as Dungy is he doesn't have that killer edge. Cowher would give the Colts that attitude that they are lacking.

Oh please........how many Super Bowls did Cowher win? One. Even with all that spittin' and slobberin' and screamin'.

John Gruden?? Same thing. With the team Dungy put together.

Dungy's way was just fine last year. He got his ring the right way. And he's among the winningest coaches in NFL history. 6 seasons of 12 to 14 win seasons is a record.

Cowher was similar to Dungy before he won that Super Bowl. A guy who over saw talented teams won a lot of games in the regular season but never could win in the playoffs.

Both of them won a Super Bowl and seem to have been vindicated from that role. But lets not forget each struggled mightily in the playoffs for many seasons.

Of course....but Dungy won waaaay more games than Cowher.

what a supremely dissappointing day. no new england-indy rematch or new england dallas rematch. At the same time im thrilled as they were the only two teams i was afraid of really, though san diego n green bay are playing great right now.

i mean this, i reallly really feel for terrell owens right now. I always thought it, all along even as he comes across as this confident, carefree guy....he wants it, really bad. And I think he thought it was this year, and the overall dissappointment and sudden crash of his dreams. Like Moss, I feel hes misunderstood more often than not and he keeps waiting his turn but it just isnt clicking.

Wonder if t.o. is envying the other 81 right now???

Didn't Eli refuse to play for the Chargers like an arrogant prick?

His reaction: "Im going to law school" *cries*

No joke.

Papa Belichick would make those tears of joy! Get his ass over to New England!

Cowher's career win percentage as a head coach - 62 %

Dungy's career win percentage as a head coach - 54 %

Might want to think twice before saying stupid things like Dungy is better than Cowher, Cellslim.

I predict after next season, his 3rd and final year of his contract, Owens will sign a Moss-esque contract with the patriots just try and win a super bowl.

after moss, there are gonna be too many ringless vets just trying to get over to ne to get a ring before they go out, and owens is as decorated and hungry as they come. Id welcome him aboard.

right now hes at home chilling with his son tyreque and envying the other 81.

I got 65% for Dungy. Dungy has played in less games then Cower, so his percentage should be higher.

Man...

Steelers get the #1 seed in 2004, lose in the AFC title game. Next year, win the Super Bowl.

Colts get the #1 seed in 2005, lose in the second round to Pittsburgh. Next year, win the Super Bowl.

Chargers get the #1 seed in 2006, lose in the second round to the Patriots. Next year....?

Indy lost for one reason.

They have NO running game. Addai has played like crap for weeks; Manning didnt blow they were just too one dimensional.

Bill Cowher's career record - 161-99-1

Tony Dungy's career record - 136-73-0 which equals out to 54 %.

And no matter how many games they play, you can still figure out the percentage for that many games.

Are you serious?

I don't take that dude seriously. There are more choice words I could call him in regards to football intelligence, but... oh well.

He thinks the Patriots spend tons of money to get the best. They bargain! How did they get Moss? A draft pick or two, not a huge signing.

I hope the Chargers beat the Patriots as a big "F-U" to the league.

Indy had two chances to win that game. Manning couldn't do it. It is true what Jerry says...Manning just can't win when things aren't perfect for him.

Your math is off. You divided the losses by the wins, when you should have divided the wins by the games.

And just looking at the number of wins vs. the number of losses for both should tell you who has the better win %

They got Moss for a fourth round draft pick.

163/209 = 65%

Yes, thanks for the clarification.

Excel thinks that EVERYONE is just dying to be with the Patriots.:down More arrogance than I've ever seen with a fan before.

It was a good game. Sadly the Cowboys lost congratulations to the giants fans here on the hype. Next season the Cowboys will win it.

GO COWBOYS!
