Of course not, but they havent had anything resembling a bad season since 2002 and it doesnt look like their on the decline. The Moss expirement was just too successful; Im not saying this as a Pats fan. Randy is the envy of all ringless veterans in the league right now.

I said in this thread awhile back. You can have the best team in sports(not just football) and still lose in the playoffs. The Seattle Mariners had 116 wins in 2001 and they lost in the playoffs. They lost their superstar(A-Rod) the year before. I admit that the Patriots are a dominant team, but sometimes having the best player(s) on your team doesn't buy you a championship.

There are dynasties in the NFL, but with every good dynasty comes a huge downfall.

Rams = greatest show on turf. Now = #2 draft pick

You can't be a dynasty with only one Super Bowl.

I hate the Packers more than the Giants, so I'd like to see New York win

I would agree that Vince Young is OVER...he is basically Culpepper 2.0....and that isnt a good thing

My god. What an idiotic comment. I mean there is really no other response than: "My god, did someone actually say that with a straight face?"

part of it comes from my lingering affection for Kerry Collins....who got the shaft when he was with the Giants....I was hoping Young would go down so Kerry could get some snaps...I just havent seen the splendiferous Vince Young with the Titans that people saw when he was with Texas...

Eh the Rams had a good run. Not a dynasty, but they were legit. I would say the most dominatant team outside of New England this decade would be the Eagles. And I know we can lose in the playoffs-lets face it, if New England doesnt lose to Denver or blow the lead to Indy last year, we would be the winners of 4 straight super bowls.

Since 2001, there have have 7 AFC title games (02,03,04,05,06,07,08). New England has played in all of them except 03 and 06.

A 16-0 season and another super bowl would pretty much assure the greatest dynasty of all time.I wont take this for granted, but ones already in the bag and the other is in the serious relm of possibilty.

-Young got his team to the playoffs without any sort of playmaker at running back or wide reciever and a decent defense. Wait till he gets some talent.

We'll see, but I dont see how that is Vince Youngs fault. When QB is the only threat to ake it to the house on the ground you have a major problem. Nothing will ever be opened for anybody running the ball. When your best reciever is a career bench playing you have an even bigger one.
LenDale's fat ass ran for 1100+ this year. The Titans had the 5th best rush offense in the league (Young only had 395) and the 5th best overall defense. How does Young have no surrounding talent?

His shortcomings, when consequently fall to the team, are a result of his inability to read defenses and make plays. Gage, Scaife and Williams are decent enough guys on the outside; nothing special, but they can be effective. The problem is Young simply isn't that good of a passer. As long as his legs are more dangerous than his arm, he'll struggle. I don't see him faring any better in the pocket than the Atlanta Dog Fighter.

Blame the coaches; they dont use Young at all how he should be used nor have they given him anythign to work with. He was used well in one game, the monday nighter he threw for 300 and ran for 70 when the actually did plays designed for him to run.

Remember, Youngs coach is the same guy who made Palmer and Leinart, hes trying to make Vince a pocket passer. His ass should be gone.

Thats because Vince Young played with a relatively very talented team in Texas (compared to his competition). His talent surrounding him in Tennessee is lacking compared to many teams with poorer records.

Lendale could rush for 2000 yards, he isnt a playmaker. He isnt a threat to get the endzone unless your in the red zone and thats the point. Nobody is a threat to take it to the house; they have no real threats to game plan around. Theres no "WE MUST CONTAIN LENDALE" or "WE CANT LET LENDALE BURN US FOR A BIG ONE" type of thoughts with any of their backs or recievers, only with Vince Young himself. His recievers didn't look bad because Young did a good job with them.

As for reading defenders, he hit 8 different recievers in their loss last week. He finds the open guy. Get somebody he actually likes to throw to and his numbers grow, get some guyS with actual talent and hell flourish. And this years draft has some real stud recievers, you can get your ass Vince will have somebody to hit deep next year.

BTW, did anyone see the "TO Tearfest"? If not, turn on Sportscenter.

To the New York Giants: I thank you and America thanks you for ending the overblown circus that was the 2007 Dallas Cowboys.

Exactly.

There are dynasties in the NFL, but with every good dynasty comes a huge downfall.

Rams = greatest show on turf. Now = #2 draft pick

Cowboys = huge dynasty in early 90's Then early 2000's = Dave Campo

Sure there is a downfall, but most teams don't even come close to being a Dynasty to even experience that downfall. What is better, becoming a dynasty and falling or never climbing to take that fall like alot of mediocre teams in the NFL.

TO with BIG Sunglasses and a trembling lower lip, "He's my Quarteback, my Quarterback man!!" :(
