Garrett turns down Ravens, will stay in Big D
Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has turned down the Ravens' head coaching offer and will stay with Dallas in 2008.
Garrett was likely using the Ravens and Falcons, who also offered him their head coaching job, all along as leverage to get more money from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. It's very possible Garrett will make more money than head coach Wade Phillips in 2008, and take on the title of assistant head coach. Jones likely also promised Garrett that he'll eventually succeed Phillips. Garrett's return is good news for all Cowboys skill players. Jan. 17 - 10:46 am et
