I still say Cincinatti jumps TCU if they beat Pitt. If Texas and Cinci lose, it will be TCU/FLA/Alabama in the NC. At large bids would go to Cinci, Texas, SEC loser, and Boise St. As it stands now, TCU/Boise/SEC Loser/Iowa probably get the At large bids.
I believe whoever loses the SEC title game is headed to the sugar bowl

I knew that already ^^^ but thanks. Ima say Iowa vs Boise in the Fiesta and TCU takes on the loser of the SEC game. That's usually how it goes when the Rose/Orange Bowls implement their bowl tie-ins.

I honestly think that Tebow won't be able to hack it out in the pros. Just curious if I am the only one who thinks this.

I still think that a team picks Tebow fairly high just based on his leadership qualities and other intangables , if Tony Duny were still around today he would have picked him.

I want one of these..lol

Did anybody else REALLY like those LSU uni's more than their standard ones? I personally loved the gold helmets.

I would vote for the Stanford kid, Geirhart, for Heisman over Tebow and McCoy. The kid is a monster, just ask Notre Dame.

I hated the gold helmets...they looked super tacky....one good game should not win you the Heisman...its about consistent performance over the course of the season...I agree the kids a great player, but he won't be in NY on Heisman weekend

He might get an invite, the same way Graham Harrel got one for no reason.

Virginia fired Al Groh...who will probably be an assistant in the NFL next year.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner.

I think Tebow plays at 11 and wouldn't know how to dial it down in the NFL...I honestly think if he does play pro he won't have a long career in the NFL....he does do football, but his faith and the whole missionary thing has been a part of his life forever....his parents are missionaries, 3 of his 5 siblings are missionaries, and he was born when his parents were in the Phillipines....I could honestly see him going off and doing that for 2 or 3 years and then maybe coming back to the NFL for a short stint

I heard about that. So they would consider replacing him with Tuberville or Fulmer? Maybe they should bring back Bobby Petrino, the Arkansas Head Coach.

No way Tubby goes to Louisville. Virginia on the other hand may have a shot at him. As for Fulmer, not sure about him but I can't really see him going to Louisville. I don't know where he'd be a good fit. Maybe he can go to Kansas and allow them to gradually work their way down to a normal size person as a coach.:word:

After seeing clips of Mark Mangino this weekend...I really feel concerns about his health.

And whomever is standing near him when he goes. The guy is the size of bus! I mean I'm fat but that's really taking it to the next level. And the situation he's in at Kansas can't be helping. He's probably out there and the circumstances around it could really limit his option as to where his next gig is at. That kind of stress added to it could be really bad.

Meh, I personally liked the helmets and wouldn't mind seeing them with the purple jersey.

He's BEEN consistent all season, including leading the FBS in rushing TD's. He won't win by a long shot due to being on a non-contending team on the west coast, but he WILL be in NY as a sympathy finalist and I would personally vote for him after finally seeing him play.

Edit: Regarding Notre Dame, they dug themselves this hole long, long ago. Being an independant team, they have nothing to shoot for except a BCS bowl, and when that doesn't happen and happen fast, the coach gets the ax, not to mention the media pressure of being the coach at Notre Dame. Charlie should be a great OC for an NFL team next year that needs more offensive production.

I guess, in hindsight, that five or ten year extension they gave him after, what only one year, seemed to be jumping the gun a bit.

especially when Notre Dames AD is on the field during the Stanford game and even let it be publicly known that Weis would not stay in CA to recruit that weekend

I wonder how that player vote on whether or not they play in a bowl game will go now. :awesome:

The article says Charlie cleaned out his office before they left for CA.

damn.....the AD should have just stormed into Weiss post game press conference and publicly canned him
