I'd like to add LSU get teh screwjob today
thanks MJThe Pac 10 is a conference, like the ACC, SEC, Big 12, Big 10 and Big East. A team's schedule is largely composed of teams from that same conference.
The BCS is a (piece of trash) system that takes teams from those conferences above and uses a number of composite ranking to pair those teams off into high profile bowl games, one of which being (what's supposed to be passed off as) a National Championship game. It gets more involved, but that's the gist of it.
When you hear someone talking about a team 'making the BCS' or 'playing ina BCS bowl' they're referring to the likelihood of that team being selected/qualifying for one of the five major bowl games.
just started watching CF this year, i don't get all the BCS, PAC 10... stuff, what does all that mean?
The BCS is the current, unfair, unbalanced and unholy system that college football is presently ruled by. It is a ranking system to determine "the best" teams in the nation. But it is in the grand scheme of things, a major popularity contest that has denied "the best" teams a shot at the championship a number of times.
i said that two hours agoLSU got screwed today.

Well, if Bama had a half decent qb, they would have won by 30 points anyways. LSU did not deserve to win that one, even if McElroy did his best to give it him. Atleast he can complete the screen pass to Julio.
Therein lies the idiocy of it all. They'd rather make money than determine a real championbut it equals $$$$$
LSU got screwed today.
Freakin dirty SEC refs
BCS Top Five:
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4635461
1. Florida
2. Alabama
3. Texas
4. TCU
5. Cincy
Uconn and Cincy had a good game
Also, if two teams from a lesser conference (MAC, WAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt, C-USA) run the table only one gets a BCS shot.
Basically if TCU runs the table and remains undefeated and Boise State does the same, TCU gets in while Boise State plays at home for their bowl game.
