I honestly said "Its so fluffy I'm gonna die" for a good year. Couldn't help it. Adorable is exactly how I would describe the first one.

I saw the first movie at night, so it was mostly adults in theater, and that and Minion going "WHAAAAT?!" got the biggest laughs of the movie.

The first movie was probably better, but I had absolutely no expectations for this one, since I was just having fun taking my nephew to the movies, so I enjoyed it. I've been listening to Minion songs all weekend.

Expressing vehement hatred of movies you haven't seen is among the stupidest things a person can possibly do.

Yeah, I don't get the hate if you never saw it. I certainly didn't hate DM2, but I was severely disappointed after all the positive reviews, and how much money it was raking in. It's just not anywhere near as good as the first, and just feels like the thing was thrown together.

I still thought it was really good! I loved the ending, especially little Agnes' toast. The minions are still funny as hell too.

And I damn near fell out of chair at [BLACKOUT]the Hugh Jackman line[/BLACKOUT]. Did not see that coming. :funny:

Where did I say I hated Despicable Me 1 or 2? I said they don't look appealing to me and that's it. I did not review the films at all because I do not review films that I haven't seen. For all I know I'm wrong and it isn't childish, braindead garbage to me.

You know what? Fine, I'll watch the first one and tell you guys what I think. Maybe it will be like Tangled where I wasn't interested in it and ended up loving it.

There were definitely some funny bits in there, I cracked up at the Nacho Sombrero, but I felt like the kids were just side characters, and not utilized well.

Like I say it's not a bad film, I just think it's not anywhere near as good as the first.

That was the part where you could maybe tone down the hysteria a notch.

You don't have see them, and you certainly don't have to like them. But you tend to stomp all over these things where it pretty much becomes a comical overreaction.

I understand why you don't like me describing how the film's look to me in such a manner. I do see how that could be insulting to the fans eventhough I didn't mean it to be. I wasn't trying to rain on the fans parade and I'm happy they enjoyed it and hope that they are loving the sequel as well.

Kevin Hart's "Let Me Explain" made $17.4 million....in 876 theaters.

I didn't even know that he was so popular. After the success of Think Like A Man and this film he is red hot.

That is a classic moment. Still gets a good laugh out of me every time I watch it. I love the minions, but Agnes is the star of the show for me. When she holds her breath... :funny:

RIPD feels like a movie that should have been made in the 90s or early 2000s.

They showed the RIPD trailer in front of Despicable Me 2. Which seemed somewhat inappropriate in front of an audience made up mostly of preschoolers.

I think it's possible Pacific Rim could do well... I certainly didn't expect World War Z to be as successful as it is. Especially a PG-13 zombie movie.

Emphasis on 'possible.'
