It'll be weird seeing an NFL season without Peyton Manning.

But we still have Matt Moore

I don't know about you guys, but as for me, I'm sick & tired of watching lame, Peyton Manning commercials everytime I turn on the tv. Insurance commercials, pizza commercials, cable providers commercials, enough already. Manning you're retired & just won the Super Bowl, take a vacation. An extremely loooooooooooooong vacation.

I thought the commercials would stop after he retired, but nope.

LOL. That's what I mean, it's endless. Even when the great Joe Montana retired, sure he had a few commercials, but even he, eventually learned to "go away".

It's just like those annoying Progressive or Geico commercials. They blitz you 24/7 every time you turn on the tv.

Everyone stop agreeing that the Raiders will be good again. You're all gonna jinx it.:cmad:

One thing for sure though, the Raiders moving outside the state of CA will feel odd (at least for me) since I've always known them to be either Oakland or LA Raiders. By the way, the team is really on the upside (meaning they'll be good)!!! :oldrazz:

THANK YOU.

The only thing worse than watching Manning's QB play last season was seeing him pitch products during every goddamn commercial break of every goddamn NFL game. Thank God for the Red Zone channel... not because it afforded me the opportunity to see at least some of my team's games every Sunday, but because it allowed me to avoid MR. CHICKEN PARM YUH TASTE SO GOOD 2 MILLION FREE PIZZAS every 10 minutes. I've got news for you Peyton; there's a reason why Joe Montana is revered and Terry Bradshaw is reviled. One of them had the good sense to go the **** away after he hung it up (until he was stupid enough to join your giant forehead in a commercial) while the other one is the biggest attention ****e on the planet. Don't be like the latter. Go away forever.

The jealousy of Peyton is hilarious. :funny:

It honestly isn't jealousy. It's pure annoyance. The guy is unbearable. He's not funny. He acts about as well as I throw 80-yard touchdown passes. He just comes off like a doofus and some of us are sick and tired of it.

You are going to have to explain then why he was easily the favored QB of the league by other players and fans alike for the past two decades. Also why these companies are still paying him truckloads of money to promote their products.

People like Peyton. He doesn't need to go away because most enjoy that stuff.

Is there actual proof of this, or are you just going by what these companies THINK people think about him? I know he has his fans but I can't imagine there would be this massive horde of people clamoring for more Peyton Manning commercials if those companies finally moved on to a new shill.

I'm neither a Colts or Broncos fan and his commercials don't bother me.

Half dead, and he still have the second highest amount of apparel sold in the league last season apparently.

You are conflating two different arguments to voice your own personal dislike. Could they find someone else? Yep. Do they have to? Of course not, because Peyton is well liked and even retired, is probably one of the five most famous NFL personalities in the world. You think they built this empire on dislike of him?

By the way, the comparison to Joe Montana are hilarious, because Joe and Peyton were selling pizzas together last year. :funny:

All I know is that Peyton was teaching kids how to break into a car... the cops came.. and he ditched them...

to me.... HILARIOUS.

Apparently Eziekiel Elliott was caught at a marijuana store in Seattle. No purchases were seen, but if he gets suspended for failing a drug test...

So that is abusing women and smoking weed. He seems to be going for a record at the moment.

So who does Merrill Hoge rip apart this season?

Vikings play their 1st game at their new BILLION DOLLAR stadium(US BANK) this Sunday against the Chargers on FOX at Noon CST.

Las Vegas Raiders has a nice ring to it.

So I DVRed the 49ers-Packers game and had to fast-forward it to the 6:19 mark in the first quarter to see actual coverage of the action. Until then, I got to see countless ads and studio talk. It was so:cmad: thoughtful of NFLN :cmad: to show us the 49ers' first TD via highlight. This league annoys me to no end.

Just watched the Pittsburgh/New Orleans game and my god are the Steelers ridiculous. Two occasions of leading with the helmet in one game (only one called) and a horse collar. And people wonder why Bengal fans throw garbage at them.

I know it's not P.C. but the Steelers have been dirty for years, and I root for them to get injured every play. Not the Ravens, not the Browns, not anyone else. Just the Steelers. Tired of seeing them regularly laying hits like this on other teams. The day they can actually play respectfully consistently is the day I'll wish them good health again. That likely won't happen though until Tomlin's gone.
