the brainiac arg. From my experience with the character, one can never get rid of brainiac.
one may be able to defeat his current plan, and destroy his physical embodiment, but he always comes back. In TAS/and JLU, Brainiac was killed in every episode he appeared in... but as an advanced computer program, he could leave bits of himself behind that would spawn into a new version of himself if he was defeated. I thought that was one of the most interesting aspects of the character, that in essence, he is nothing more than his programing code.
Now, as far as SV is concerned, this concept could work very well now. Especially since Brainiac has turned off all electronic equipment in the world, and caused some sort of American Mass hysteria nationwide riot. Brainiac has infected the world.
I'd like to see Brainiac/Ship eventually destroyed, and we don't see the annoying AI for a while. But then, in lets say a finale, we get brainiac respawning from bits and peices of himself left inside computers around the world.
althought Lex is the only one that closer to his DESTINY. The TPTB write Lex better than they do Clark .
