Voice all your negative opinions all you want, nobody is stopping you, DC & WB say 1 thing, and boyscouT disagrees with it, and other people in here disagree with him, is there a problem with that?

What he said didn't exactly sound like something a SV fan would say, it was just surprising (maybe not) coming from boyscouT, that is all. We can all move on now.

Anyway, Zod..... I thought this comment was interesting in that review Pat posted.

General Zod came in to take over the world, and in the season finale, he took possession of Lex Luthor's body, taking advantage of the darkness that was consuming the jaded, bald billionaire, and effectively flashing forward to Lex inflicting Armageddon on the world as he has done in the comics.

I hope they highlight the fact that it was because of Lex's obsessions and the fact that he thinks that he has the power to do whatever he wants, that he was chosen as the Vessel.

Its also interesting that they take stories from other superman media (I assume the comment about Armageddon in the comics is true) and blend it into their own tale. We will never see Lex's dream of Armageddon but this will be the closest that we get. Great stuff!

I really, really hope that Clark doesn't get out of the Phantom Zone and defeat Zod in the first episode, that would be an extreme copout. There should be a 3 episode arc closing up this storyline, atleast.

Yea, he said that the budget wouldn't allow for them to go more than the premier.

We gotta cut them some slack, budget usually decides things like that.

Batman Begins was terrible! And don't talk about it here, cuz we're SV fans not batman fans.

Now here's where you and I disagree . I thought BATMAN BEGINS is so far The Best Superhero movie ever made . [It had a great story, Great action, Super cast, And unlike Smallville, It stay true to both The Mythology of BATMAN . And The Great Legacy of BATMAN .]

Clark will get help from a mysterious, beautiful (of course)woman named Raya, who at first captures him and interogates him in the Zone. Turns out she was Jor-El's assistant and was placed in the Zone by Zod. Eventually she helps Clark escape the Zone and gives him a crystal to help him defeat Zod/Lexx.

I hate that all the Kryptonian technology in SV is suddenly all crystals all the time.

Whatever happened to the tech displayed in the first four seasons? (IE, the octagonal key, Clark's ship, the ship's "heart," Jor-El's pendant, the starblade). These examples of technology all had a consistent look and were made of an alloy not found on earth. Now, everything's made out of crystals?

This is what I mean about WB features trying to ensure SV is in line with the movie universe.

Nice points. I still hope for more light to be shed on Jor-El. I just hope it's not a rushed premiere. Clark's probably gonna get his ass out of the PZ by the ep's mid-point...hmph.
