Just so I've got this clear.
There are actually people here not only defending, but advocating the idea that Bane's dialogue should be completely unintelligible for the sake of realism. There are also people suggesting that Bane's dialogue being incomprehensible is not a big deal.
Well.... I don't think anyone said "completely." And I think what most people said is that, if it's intentional, then it could be okay. Also the point was brought up that it might be an issue raised in the story. We just don't have enough context yet. So no... you're generalizing pretty horribly.
What if the point is that he can't be understood? What if the point is that this grotesquely strong man still has a weakness. What if his speech adds to his feelings of alienation towards society? There's just no telling yet is all.Why bother giving him dialogue at all then? What's the point in the character speaking if people can barely make out a word he says?
Just mind boggling.
You could take a random scene out of Rocky, and have this same criticism, no?
But I will give you this.
