bad english i know, but i'm no american or someone from england.

I highly doubt WB is gonna let Nolan leave Bane's lines like that. Even if he doesn't want to dub them, if so many people are having problems hearing what the main villain is saying, WB won't allow that.

Are we still arguing about Bane's voice? Multiple sources have confirmed that the dialogue is going to be improved with ADR.

Didn't Nolan say that he hasn't even began editing yet?

According to cinemablend, we are getting the trailer today! :D

So...to those who said I would read descriptions of the prologue...I've managed to avoid everything so far.

Hope I can make it to the 16th.

Keep avoiding it because it's apparently one of the most amazing things eva. ;)

It's not that, it's about him sounding unintelligable like Batman in the last one. I hate to see the production leaving themselves so vulnerable to the naysayers like they did with the last film, like someone earlier said it seems like Nolan's just too proud to dub over these voices.

The idea that you couldn't understand Batman in TDK is so far off base.

This reminds me of people saying they won't watch British films because they can't understand the accents. :funny:

The only time I couldn't understand him was when he responds to Joker in the final scene and I think that was for effect seeing as he was dead tired from everything he had just gone through.

Everything else I heard just fine.

While I realise there remains lots of editing to do on the movie as a whole, I would have thought that Nolan would have edited the prologue to his satisfaction and would not have shown it unless he was completely happy with it and it was complete. So, it seems strange that the dialogue is obviously unclear. It is, after all, a showcase for the film.

Although I've read reports stating the same thing (i.e. Bane's voice), they've still said that the prologue is amazing.

Hell, even Edgar Wright and Duncan Jones were there praising the s**t out of it!

Indeed, to me his voice was 'over-worked' in the film as a whole, but I wouldn't say it was intelligible at any point.

What if Bane is supossed to sound like that? Like that bad. Like his mouth and inside his mouth is burnt? Maybe it's not a sound problem but a "feature" of Bane. :)

Bane: Aif goin tu kil yu.
Batman: Sorry, what did you say?

:)

Is he wearing his mask in the prologue?

I would imagine that there will be an effect to reflect that he is wearing a mask, but that effect shouldn't obscure the dialogue.

As long as he doesn't sound like Cobra Commander in the G.I. Joe movie, I'll be happy.

Additional Dialogue Recording/Dubbing
Ahhh, ok just so long as it's not Alberto Del Rio. I mean, he has the hispanic accent...but it would still be weird.

Hopefully we get a very methodical, deliberate, paced but menacing Bane voice from Hardy. Not quite as booming as Darth Vader, but more along the lines of Valdemort.
