Nolan hasn't even started to edit and mix the rest of the movie. When it all comes together I'm sure they realize it's hard to hear and not consistent with the rest.

The score is non stop and builds until the chant enters for the last 30 or so seconds when the henchman is left behind and you realize Bane is the man.

:hrt: Don't worry, we won't. Now, back to complaining about how Bane is an unintelligable midget and how Catwoman doesn't have a cowl we go! :awesome:

To be fair, I kinda wish Catwoman did have a cowl...:oldrazz:

haha too f'ing true. You know what was funny about the poster, and what seems to happen with other reveals, is the immediate reaction for about 30 -50 posts is "Oh dear gawd", holy **** thats awesome, badass, etc etc etc"...Then one person comes along and complains about...rain. or snow. or sleet. And suddenly the very people whos immediate reaction was pure excitement start recanting and totally nitpicking the everloving hell out of it. I think it actually speaks more to human nature than anything else. Mob mentality and so forth.

That's the internet for you. Psychology majors could write entire thesis' on forums like this.

It is entirely the sound mix that is the issue with his voice, his voice is fine but it's not loud, he doesn't yell like the CIA guy does. He speaks calmly and with purpose. The background sounds and score are what make him hard to understand, not the voice its self.

Thank you for explaining.

Thank you Blue Sugar and N-T-M, I meant sound mix not sound design. But yeah...lol

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is what the very first image is. I'm assuming it's something that forms the bat symbol, as with the previous two. Begins had the bats, TDK had the fire... Do we know what TDKR opens with?

This has been mentioned many times actually. :awesome:

It's the Batsymbol covered in ice or something.

It's a quick logo, all the logos are fast. It doesn't waste time with all the logos to open up. Just gets right to the action. But all the logos are portrayed on ice that is cracking and breaking.

Makes since since the official logo is cracked in it's design. Cracked ice will be cool!

Classic Nolan.

You saying that in a good way or bad way?

Bad way I'm guessing, although the only other example I can think of was Ken Wantabe's character in Inception. And he did have a thick Asian accent.

In a bad way.

There were times during TDK where the score was blaring so loudly I had trouble hearing what the characters were saying.

Nolan's films are loud, and sometimes it's distracting for me.

just curious as to when, because I personally can't remember the music being that loud.

So I'm just interested where you had issues with it

Yup, the exact same thing happens throughout Inception.

I can usually hear the characters fine in his films. To each his own I guess.

When I saw The Dark Knight July 18th midnight showing, I had a hard time hearing Gordon's end speech at the end of the movie. I mean I could hear everything he was saying, but the music was so much louder. It was drowning out his dialogue. That was the only time in the film though.

I don't understand how i can understand Ken Watanabe or Bale growl while americans can't. I don't even have a proper grammar. :woot:

Yeah inception and tdk have BIG loud scores so I can understand Boom.

Although I had no problems hearing dialogue.
