so, Zor-El tried to assassinate Jor-El

i wonder why?

in the comics the tension came from jor-el creating the phantom zone and zor-el realising its danger. It could be seen that zor-el was helping criminals when really he wanted to stop the murderous phantoms

I missed last weeks episode, but I am so glad I caught this one. For a kinda Chloe centric episode this was not too bad!

Dean Cain was awesome. A tragic villain. Creepy as hell, but still very enigmatic.

Lex and Clark working together was a surprise.

Lana is delving into this whole Lex thing now almost to the point of obsessiveness. I dont know if I like it. :( But I thought her scenes with Clark were very cute! But the undertone was a little worrying. Didnt really like this either.

Chloe was alright. Felt a little sorry for her actually. But she really didnt value her relationship with Jimmy so its probably best they broke up.

The Kara/MM scenes were cool. What's going on here I wonder. Really interesting storyline.

And Clark, poor thing. He just had a lot to deal with.

Why on earth would they cut a Dean Cain and Tom Welling scene in favour for that long ass Jimmy and Chloe break up?

A scene of Lana brushing her hair for five minutes would've had more entertainment value than that Neverending Breakup.

Yes, the CW did it too much!!

In the first full teaser about the season Clark says: "Maybe it's time". They cut it too, and the Clark VS Bizarro scene where Bizarro was suffocating Clark as well:

We never did find out what episode that was supposed to be from. They can still use it somewhere down the line. Maybe after he realizes that him & Lana will never be together & stuff like that. That still can be a useable scene if you ask me.

Finally saw this eppy a while ago on the DVR. Good show...anyone surprised that Knox turned out to be an immortal and not a freak of the week baddie? Like to see more of him, and it looks like we might. Would like to know how he became an immortal, too.

Has Smallville ever talked about the fact that their are other non-kryptonite related powers out there.

There have been a few people with powers they have either been born with or have gotten in another way than being exposed to Kryptonite.

Lots of great points. I'm going to stick with my believe that neither of them are bad. my guess is that they've both been given biased views of something that's most certainly shades of gray.

I think you're right. Kara will likely have a bit of a rude awakening about her father, and MM will have to accept that Kara isn't evil after all.

Bart made a funny comment about it to Clark after Clark assumed he was meteor infected.
************

Bart: All right, well, a couple of years ago there was, like, this accident, right? There was this huge flash of light, and my body went into overdrive.

Clark: And this happened in Smallville.

Bart: No. Man, this is my first time here, and no offense, dude, but hopefully the last.

Clark is surprised. He walks up the stairs to the loft and Bart follows.

Clark: I've never met anyone with powers like yours that wasn't from around here.

Bart: Yeah, well, maybe you should get out more.

Yes, most notably the SV justice league members: Bart and A.C. being of the natural kind, and Victor being of the man-made kind. One could argue Oliver; his archery talents are unnatural and quite impressive, though not necessarily superhuman. Isabelle Thoreau and Co. were brought back to life and had magical, superhuman powers that were unrelated to Kryptonite as well.

Mikhail Mxyzptlk, was also established to have powers unrelated to Kryptonite.

Then there's the phantoms.... Lots of people. :woot:

talk about ruining a great episode with giving Dean Cain a crappy role and not enough screentime, WHO CARES ABOUT CHLOE AND JIMMY.

Dean Cain didn't have a crappy role but he didn't have a lot of screen time either. However, like Bizarro, he'll probably be returning later on this season.

I reeeeeally need to see this f@#$ing episode. I'm about to go f@#$ing insane from disappointment. I swear I hate f@#$ing tornados and my f@#$ing local weather people...have I mentioned that yet?...I hate them so very, very much.

:cmad: :cmad: :cmad: :cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

Calm down, the last thing we need is a homicidal Smallville fan on the loose.

I'm not homicidal. Insane? Possibly...but not homicidal. (And if it wasn't the Dean Cain episode, I wouldn't have been that upset...I mean, why couldn't tornados have come during "Subterranean?")

I thought you were able to see it already?
Check PMs. :)

And thank you a thousand times over! I swear if I ever get a date, then depending on where that goes, I'm naming my first child after you...maybe my first two kids. We'll see...first things first. :yay:
