8.15 - Infamous - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

what did you write about??? how was she defeated??? does she knows clark's secret??

I read the spoilers and this episode intrigues me. It sounds interesting on paper but when actually played out, I hope it doesn't turn out to be a dud like the last two episodes.

yea i hope it will be a good episode to make up for the whole super lana crap they gave us. And i agree since the episode isnt airing untill march 5th we are likely not going to get the description for another week or two.

what did you write about???

She wrote about Lex and Lana in a gossip column, and then Clark and Lana having an affair, and was about to write an article that outed Clark as an alien

how was she defeated???

Lana hit her with a truck and she "splattered" everywhere and ran down into the sewer.

does she knows clark's secret??

yes, assuming she retained her memories after they got rid of her last time.

Here's my review from back when it aired: http://www.dc-kingdom.com/index.php?categoryid=42&p408_articleid=66

One of the things I'm looking forward to most about this episode is seeing how they get out of it. From the spoilers for Turbulence, it looks like we can assume everything doesn't simply get undone or mind-wiped from everyone.

I'm really forward to this episode! It looks like it will be a life-changing episode for Clark as it will lead him closer to actually becoming Superman. Really hope it doesn't disappoint!

yea that is what i am waiting to see too how does the episode end and who knows about clark at the end besides chloe/ollie......

Looks like Infamous won't air until March 12th now. This sucks!

well its only an extra week more. Maybe they wanted to make sure they get the rest of the season episodes filmed before they get back from this short break.

I hate that they're doing these long breaks in between 3 or 4 episode blocks. It wasn't like this last year.

From Ausiello tonight

Question: Any news from Lois' big return to Smallville? -- Claudia

Ausiello: It airs March 5. It features a return appearance by Tori Spelling. It finds Clark revealing his true identity to the world. And I'm told it will have Lois and Clark fans forgetting Lana appeared in any episodes at all this season.

first time I appreciate the lack of continuity of this show

Hopefully Clark reverses time to pre Super Lana arc, then we can all forget about it

"Forgetting" what? Are PS3 going to pretend Lana wasn't there at all? The same way they have forgotten about Lois, Jimmy, Martha.... their usual out of sight out of mind lazy writing garbage. :whatever:

She's mentioned in the sides that were released for the episode, so I'm guessing not.

you'd ***** if they kept referring to Lana in episodes. Now you're going to complain that she isnt being referred to enough? I'm starting to think you just like to ***** about the show no matter what.

That's stupid IMO... i know many hate Lana, but not everyone does (myself included)... bah. I'm not saying they should make Clark all angsty forever, but going from their intense goodbye to Clark and Lois hooking up sounds lame to me. But it's Smallville after all, why am i surprised :hehe:

I still think this should have been the time to bring Lois to the show, not when they did seasons ago... oh well.

Hulk, we have been here a long time...people always need a reason to gripe. It doesn't matter what is done on the show, griping will commence.

Damn! The winter hiatus was one thing, but this is just annoying.

Not too upset that we're gonna move past the Lana 'sodes. I'm usually all for continuity, but yeah, let's move on and forget that mess.

what are you talking about? they've mentioned all those characters this past season especially Lois and Jimmy during the past couple episodes. All it takes is one quick line from some character to mention them. I'm happy enough with that. And I don't think Ausiello meant that Lana is forgotten in Smallville and never mentioned again. He meant that fans will be so happy with clois in the episode that they will forget clark was with lana for the past few episodes...
