I really want Joe to win because I feel like time is against him career wise. Dude is 39 and sort of getting injury prone. Not sure how many good years he has left in the business.
AJ has had his run, and I want to see Joe get one.
I'll tell you guys. There was a time I was a huge mark for TNA and all their fresh young talent. Joe was one of them. In fact, there are times I'd just be banging my head on my keyboard on how insanely they were booking Joe. I always felt TNA wouldn't get out of its own way and would never use Joe to his full potential, and it made me furious.
Whenever it seemed like Joe was going to be the face of the company, TNA would do something stupid to screw it up. Like Kurt Angle or Sting would come in and they would get the spotlight instead, and they generally made no difference at all in terms of buyrates or ratings.
Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett really were the worst company heads. This is why I'm not a Jarret fan at all. He did a terrible job in TNA and he was the worst world champion ever.
If Jim Cornette is going to call Ultimate Warrior the drizzling ****s, then Jarrett was truly the drizzling ****s as a world champion main eventer.
