I think using Rhea's injury to facilitate a double turn makes sense as fans have been cheering for Ripley for ages anyway and the crazy chick gimmick seems to suit Liv, I'm just glad Liv is bringing up that Rhea injured her first, as Dusty used to say the best heels have a genuine justification for their actions that they can focus on no matter what heels acts they do.
