Or he was just telling Brian that he doesn't need help. Sometimes a line is just a line, not everything has to be a nod or reference to something else.
fail.

You don't remember when everyone got excited about Gambol's henchman called Gator? EVERYBODY was talking how this could be a nod to Killer Croc and this could be him before he's croc!!Seriously? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
This is worse than the supposed "catwoman" reference because Fox spoke about the armor being resistant to certain animals. No really, if there was a crocadile in the background in the next movie someone would go ZOMGGGG KILLER CROC!!!!!!!!1111
Sorry, I like doing that.
You people know who you are... I laughed so hard when that happened and you know what? Gator was the one who got the pencil in the eye. It must be teh acid pencil in deh eye!!

Did anyone notice the paticular scene in The Dark Knight where all the mobsters and the fake 'batmen' are apprehended and Brian Douglas (the paticular 'batmen' that the Joker later takes hostage) tells Batman that "we're trying to help you" and Batman responds by saying "I don't need any help" . . . well if you didn't I did and I was just thinking if this was truly Christopher Nolan telling all us fans that he really does not want Robin in a future series.
Nolan has stated before, as has Christian Bale, that he does not want Robin to appear in his movies, but I was just thinking if this could be a direct statement, yet hidden in the moment, that Batman will always be alone and there will be no Robin.
Thoughts, ideas, anything else?
you may be reading a little too much into that line though dude.
although i can assuredly say that i wouldnt want Robin involved in the trilogy, i wouldnt mind them giving a short cameo to Dick Grayson. in BB, Batman and that kid from the slums played off well with each other. so if they are to formally make a scene for Grayson, i'm pretty sure Nolan will do well to convey it without making it look cheesy or Batman looking inferior.
I really hope this isn't the case. I really would like to see Robin taken seriously in the films. Although I have to say that Chris O'Donnel was probably the ONLY thing I liked about the Schumaker films. You could tell he took the roll seriously.
But I'd like to see a younger Robin, like 15 or 16, and Bruce connects with him because of the death of his parents. That's what I want to see.

The Joker did a magic trick, that must be a nod to Zatana.
See, I can do it too.

There is nothing directly implied about Robin in that scene. You're really reaching there.Did anyone notice the paticular scene in The Dark Knight where all the mobsters and the fake 'batmen' are apprehended and Brian Douglas (the paticular 'batmen' that the Joker later takes hostage) tells Batman that "we're trying to help you" and Batman responds by saying "I don't need any help" . . . well if you didn't I did and I was just thinking if this was truly Christopher Nolan telling all us fans that he really does not want Robin in a future series.
