Whoa!
Where's the like button?
So its being released in early January will it be shown over here in the UK on Channel 4 like Agents of SHIELD is?

Can't see any reason why not. Although I imagine there will still be a 3 week delay which will severly impact viewing figures :(

Wow, the new tv spots look great. Very excited about this. Was gonna watch it no matter what for Hayley, but it looking this good is a nice bonus.

That's much better than those weak ass ones they were showing before.

I'm glad they got rid of the cheesy tagline they used in the first one...it made me go :whatever:

These 2 TV spots look good and I also liked the scene with Peggy meeting OG!Jarvis that they showed in the 75th anniversary special.

Marvel's Agent Carter to Debut With a 2-Hour Premiere

Can't contain your excitement for the upcoming "Marvel's Agent Carter"? Well you're in luck! The series premiere will be a very special two-hour event!

ABC's highly anticipated new seven-part television event, "Marvel's Agent Carter," the second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel, inspired by the feature films Marvel's "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," along with the short "Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter," will debut with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, January 6 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field, putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – a.k.a. Captain America. When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, "Captain America: The First Avenger”) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy -- the only person he can trust -- to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D'Arcy), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for selling these weapons of mass destruction. If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse.

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”) as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy (“Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World”) as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray (“One Tree Hill,” “A Cinderella Story”) as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj (“Dollhouse”) as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham (“American Hustle,” “The Wolf of Wall Street”) as Chief Roger Dooley.

Tara Butters (“Resurrection”), Michele Fazekas (“Resurrection"), Christopher Markus (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), Stephen McFeely (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), Chris Dingess (“Men in Trees”), Kevin Feige (Marvel’s "Guardians of the Galaxy,” Marvel’s "The Avengers”), Louis D'Esposito (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” Marvel’s "Iron Man 3”), Alan Fine (“Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” Marvel’s "Thor”), Joe Quesada (“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Marvel’s Avengers Assemble”), Stan Lee (“Spider-Man,” “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk”) and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville,” “Lost,” “Heroes”) are executive producers. “Marvel’s Agent Carter” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

Check out the "Marvel's Agent Carter" series premiere on Tuesday, January 6 at 8:00 p.m. ET! Make sure to like "Marvel's Agent Carter" on Facebook and follow @AgentCarterTV on Twitter for all the latest updates!

Down to seven parts now because of the two-parter. Makes it seem less haha

I'm wondering if part of the reason they're doing this is to avoid having a new episode air on Jan. 20th which I believe is when the President's State of the Union address for 2015 will be.

Yeah, they probably aren't going to air on STOTU. Although, seeing the announcement, I was hoping they added an extra hour of programming.

There's still time for ABC to make it a full 2 hour premiere with no commercial breaks. :)

Hayley has been looking really hot during those TV spots. I can't wait to watch this show in the next couple of weeks.

I wouldn't have minded if it were still 8 parts but they made the first episode extended by adding on footage from the Agent Carter one shot. I don't mind seeing that again when given greater context within this series.

I don't think it would work, though, because this is essentially a prequel to that.

I kinda like the idea of a big 2-parter to open the series. AoS has missed having a 2-hour spectacular

Two hous premiers are awesome! It be nice if AoS had a two hour finale this year.

I cant believe they are making this into a series. The concept just doesn't seem all that interesting to me and it seems unnecessary

Let's axe it now, a month away from broadcast. :o

You don't have to watch it. Or for that matter comment. I'll never understand why people go into forums of shows they don't want to see and ask why they are being made.

Funny. I don't recall doing that. On the flip side, I'll never understand why people act like *****es when someone dares have an opposite opinion that doesn't jive with their own.
