That's my guess. We have just one more AOS until it comes out and in the preview they said there would be a scene featured from AoU. At first I thought they meant like a long preview of the movie, but I think it's going to be in the actual episode. Like we get a scene of Coulson and crew flying in and kicking major ass and then it cuts to the scene from AoU so it's like they are fighting together. It's possible that if some of the cast from AOS are in AoU then it would be around the time the Avengers hit the Hydra base.

Hacking into Deathlok's feed JUST IN TIME to see Ward and Coulson teaming up without the context for it. Really cliché/predictable writers.

Don't forget the scene where Daisy and Obvious Love Interest fell down together and there was that brief moment of her laying on top of him. That was so subtle that one person in the audience might have possibly missed it. They may need to go more heavy handed next week so everyone gets that we're supposed to see them as a couple.

He would be a great recurring character for this show as well as the new spin off.

This could be out there and crazy, but what if Agent 33 and Ward are getting the spinoff show. I don't see it as very likely, but it's possible. We disagree on wanting to see him come back to the team, but I agree that he best not be the one diving on the grenade. It just doesn't fit his character type at all.

Sorry, not seeing that at all. Lightning Lad isn't Obvious Love Interest, he's Unrequited Love Boy. Probably ticketed to die saving her at some point.

Nah. The couple is Coulson and Skye. Didn't you see the puppy eyes between them tonight? And what's Phil been doing for episodes now but tearing the planet apart trying to find Skye, not clearing his name or fighting Hydra or recovering the magic box...it's all about the girl. Sparky's just there to be the guy who the girl doesn't notice...until, of course, it's too late.

Still cliche, of course, but there's not much new under the sun these days.

I'm so jealous of both of you. I live in a small town with nothing nearby so I have to wait until the 1st. My local theater, which is 20 miles away, almost never does midnight showing but they are for AoU and I don't plan on waiting one second longer than I must to see that movie.

I'm sure it will be just like when TWS dropped and the episode prior to the movie was right before and the episode the following week was the aftermath

I could see the final scene happens on the show, then instead of the SHIELD eagle, it's the Avengers symbol on-screen. Then after break, it's the brief sneak peek of the Avengers vs. Hydra scene.

I'd quite like Ward to end up a recurring chaotic neutral character, switching to whichever side best suits his ends. He is a great character, really enjoyable to watch, but redemption for someone like him is way out of logical reach.

Oh, my bad. I didn't know they had made it official. I love both of them (Hunter quite a bit more though) but I am not too excited about that. I'll watch it cause I'm a MCU addict, but I can see it being at the bottom of my list.

I loved this episode (again... Gods I love this show).

Everything was amazing, though I have to agree that the 'seeing through Deathlok's eye' timing was super predictable, and they lingered a little long on the ridiculous Skye+Lightning Lad falling down scene, but with those being my only complaints it ways a lot about the show.

As for everyone talking about going to watch Avengers, I think the US release date must be really late compared to UK since it opens tomorrow at midnight for us (and I'm going, obvs.). Pity about the timing for the tie-in, but I'm hardly about to make myself wait.

Yeah, we have to wait until next Friday... Isn't it kind of unusual for the UK to get blockbusters before the US? If it's normal, I guess I just never really noticed
