I'd like to see them not care at all about meeting Hawkeye. :funny:

I can see it now...

*Clint walks into the SHIELD Airplane, where he encounters Coulson and his group. Before he can exchange greetings with everyone, Fitz runs up to him with a piece of paper in his hand as he extends it towards Barton."

CLINT:What's this?

FITZ: Forgive me sir, but I'm a HUGE fans of work. I know this is unprofessional, but can I have your autograph?

CLINT: (Grins) Sure, no problem.

*Clint signs the paper. Fitz retrieves the sheet with a smile on his face, until suddenly, it disappears from his face*

CLINT: Whats' wrong?

FITZ: Oh, my apologies. I thought you were the guy that played Jason Bourne.

CLINT: Who?

FITZ: It's nothing. Nice to meet you, I'm Agent Fitz.

CLINT: I'm Agent Barton...you know, Hawkeye?

FITZ: Who?

CLINT: You know, one of the Avengers? The guy with the bow!

FITZ: Never heard of him. Though I know about Starlod, the legendary outlaw. Now he's awesome!

How many men in here were offended by Lorelei seducing Ward?

I doubt there will be any outcry from heterosexual men about that scene. The only thing I'm upset about is they cut it too short.

I was just wishing the whole time that it was me getting it on with her.

I'm saying right now that I would not be surprised in the least if Bucky made appearances in this show during Season 2.

And yes, that alien is Kree.

We have GotG coming, of course it's Kree.

It seems obvious that it is the Kree given all the evidence to support that theory, but didn't the specimen in the tank seem like he is almost too big?

In the GotG trailer you can see Ronan is hoisting Drax by that throat, and Drax is a big guy, but it just doesn't seem like Ronan is nearly as big as the tank Kree had the tank Kree had a full body.

My 2c;

Man Rape, I'm embarressed for some of you after reading your posts. you're either a 14 year old virgin or a 37 year old virgin. Sit down and shut up while grown folks is talkin (...about a comic book universe.... ;) )

May: Lorelei was definitely lying because she mentioned Heart Of Ice. Sky isn't like that. That scene was just to stir speculation.

Ward: IO like how the Everyday Agents are all getting flavours of sorts. Sky = Kree Shiz and Lorelei mentioned Ward's heart of the berserker so while he doesn't have full blown powers it does add a flavour, which plays into the type of show and keeps the nerds speculating again. Nothing more than that though imo (Skye's a different story)

Sif was good. Not really a fan of the character, from what she's done in the movies. She benefited from the smaller stage.

Coulson's acting was stretched thin in this episode too. Stick to being cool and collected Son of Coul. You look like a co-star from a saturday morning tv show otherwise. It really does seem like that all things are pointing to the Fury/Cap v Shield storyline. With only 2 movies left on Evans' contract and Cap 3 already planned, will we see Captain Propaganda die in Age Of Ultron?

So considering Fury's currently off the grid, do we think that:
a) This episode falls smack in the middle of the CA:TWS timeline?
b) Or it's all unfolding in real-time and Fury resurfaces in CA:TWS only to go off the grid again in the movie?

(Not spoilers... I'm just basing that piece of speculation off of the trailers.)

It's 6 films, 3 Cap and 3 Avengers.

IMO, I don't think the events of Winter Soldier have started up yet - I think, relatively speaking it's going to be mostly real-time-ish and when those tie-ins start happening, I think we're going to know.

It is possible that precursors (i.e. the type of stuff they sometimes put in the official prelude/tie-in comics to the films - like "Fury's Big Week" before Avengers) to whatever happens in Winter Soldier are starting to happen, and that's keeping Fury busy?

I know we've had the MCU for a while now....but I still get excited when I hear references from other films. Like when Sif mentions the Dark Elves. :)

Go back to episode 1. Who said "He must never know" in regards to Coulson? Agent Hill did.

May's message on the phone was simply "He knows."

The assumption is that "he must never know" comes down to Hill from Fury. So whoever May was reporting to answers to either Fury or if Fury really is off the grid, then to Agent Hill.

Not sure why you quoted me.

Do people here think Lorelei telling the truth to May about what Ward told her about who he had feelings for? I thought she was just trying to rile May up and mess with her, but that might be because I don't really feel much between Skye and Ward so I find it hard to believe Skye is who he'd have feelings for. I could actually buy that he was talking about May and Lorelei was playing with May trying to make her her think Ward liked someone else instead of her. Lorelei's currency seems to be sex and everything that comes with it I imagine she knows how to manipulate people in all kinds of relationships and is good at playing with emotions between partners.

Everyone assumes the other is Skye. I don't.

I think Ward sees Skye as more of a little sister. He's protective of her yes, but more in that way. The girl that Ward has tried to be more charming to has been Simmons. Remember The Well? the way he helped her climb that fallen tree and how he told her he admired her for jumping from the plane the episode before? It's an opposites attracts thing.

It's all the viewers who are jumping to the Skye conclusion.

Considering Whedon created S.W.O.R.D., it's a fair assumption.

Yes, and it would be really neat to see S.W.O.R.D. appear in the show. Coulson's alien discovery provides a perfect avenue for S.W.O.R.D.'s involvement, and it would be a great tribute to Whedon's original idea. Maybe down the road we'll see Abigail Brand, too.

Yes, May's orders likely came from Fury, either directly or through Hill, and Fury obviously is the one who knows what this alien project is all about, and why Coulson of all people was so important that he needed to be brought back to life.

Good ep. Sif was awesome. Really wish they'd give her more to do in the films.

I prepared my sneer as I started reading that but you won me over by the end. Simmons doesn't have a heart of ice though...

Bucky, as in Barnes, as in been dead/on ice/not bucky since the 1940s??

Hmmm. OK, I'm going to refrain from this conversation for now and hit you up in about six months.

You can refer to me not knowing he's winter soldier all you want, I'll continue to question your ludicrus assumption that the actor/charactor would appear in AOS.

My ? wasn't cryptic.

I was trying to be polite, you don't need to be a snot.

It's not ludicrous when you know the character once reformed does a lot with SHIELD in the comics and even if they half follow the books it makes sense he could possibly pop up. Not to mention the actor they have playing him is primarily a TV actor.

Also, I said I would not be surprised, not that I think he would definatly be in the show.

I was not making an assumption, only person doing that was you.
