I think you might be thinking of The Sandbox. If I recall correctly the Hub was in a desert setting.
May shooting at Fitz makes zero sense to me. "It's not what it looks like". Pretty sure it is, you tried to freeze Fitz, what other explanation is there?
I'm not even sure what she was planning on doing there. I mean she used the ICER so obviously she wasn't planning on killing him, but what was she gonna do with him when she stunned him? Everyone else would notice he was missing.
That or question him to see where *his* loyalties lie (*if* she's answering to Fury, it's possible she's started to catch wind that things aren't what they should be in SHIELD)???Explain the situation to him when he woke up?
It made sense to me. She was shooting at him so he wouldn't blow her cover. Same reason Seth shot Fitz in Seeds.May shooting at Fitz makes zero sense to me. "It's not what it looks like". Pretty sure it is, you tried to freeze Fitz, what other explanation is there?
May shooting someone of a lower rank with a stun shot isn't much different.
Personally I think Hand is part of Hydra and Blake kept asking May if she believed in "Scorpio" and MOST of us knows who THAT really is if you've read the comics.![]()
and if she BELIEVED in Scorpio. Kind of like asking if she WORKED for Scorpio not her sign. Was that what he asked?I thought he asked.if.she was a Scorpio as in born between October 23 and.November 21.

Basically a cover for Nick to do things he couldn't under SHIELD
I saw it coming after seeing the rough cut of WS. Makes COMPLETE sense and works with the way it was in the comics and without the aid of Norman Osborn disbanding SHIELD during the Civil War.Thanks.
That's so much better than a Shield agent actually believing in astrology. I took it as bad writing, this is a huge relief.
Thing is May has nowhere to go. In Seeds they were leaving anyway and just knocked Fitz out so he wouldn't tell them until they'd left. May (as far as she knew) was still going to be on the team as usual.
She can't kill him, because they'd notice he was gone and she can't frame anyone for it. She can't even stun him for very long because what happens when he wakes up (and she can't keep him locked away indefinitely either, as again, Coulson would notice when Fitz seemingly disappeared on a plane with only so many places to go)
The only way to maintain her cover would be to get Fitz in on it too. But she wouldn't even tell Coulson the truth at gun point.

Simmons shot a high ranking SHIELD agent with a stun shot at the freaking Hub and somehow managed to get out of the building alive AND stay on the team.
May shooting someone of a lower rank with a stun shot isn't much different.
I think what was meant is that if they felt at risk they'd send the agents they wanted eliminated on a mission with absolutely no chance of survival or at the very least insure they had no chance of linking them to the attempt on their lives.
It isn't about who suspects who. If YOU were a traitor, and a small group of people were sniffing around to discover the truth...wouldn't you send them to the front lines of battle to hopefully die, even if they hadn't figured it out that you were a traitor yet? In the Bible, King David impregnated a married woman. The husband had no clue that it happened. However, to eliminate any problems, David sent the man to the front lines of the battle so he would die and no one would question why his wife was later with the King.
*lol* Let's see, we've got the following:
The Triskelion
The Hub
The Fridge
The Sandbox
The Slingshot
The Academy
We know the Triskelion is in Washington D.C.
We know the Sandbox is in a desert region (in Africa?)
The Slingshot also appears to be in a desert region - beyond that, location is unknown
The Academy looks like it could be any college campus in the country, so no help there.
The Fridge & the Hub we've never even seen the outside of.
Does all that sound about right?
