Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Show In The Works

G'day,

I would be very surprised with a solo Mockingbird show. Doubt that would have enough strength to carry it. However what if Bobbi & Hunter were placed in charge of the powered people that Coulson is supposed to have hidden away in the Theta project? That might work.

That'd be a cool spin on things. It'd be a way to still give us an Avengers Academy type scenario. Good idea!

This spinoff doesn't sound that interesting if it's just like AOS. I don't care to see Adrianne Palicki or Nick Blood in large doses. They're okay as part of an ensemble in AOS and I feel their stories could be told there. They can focus on one of them for an episode. It would otherwise be like a spin off of Star Trek: The Next Generation starring someone like Geordi LaForge or Counsellor Troi. But instead we had individual episodes focusing on them and then back to the main cast or others for another episode.

I would just prefer a new superhero show with non budget heroes. I would be happy if they gave us something like the Flash.

And I hope we get Season 2 of Agent Carter. I would prefer that to this spin off.

This makes sense:

-They were trying to make a Mockingbird TV show a few years ago. Perhaps now they're trying again since her profile is higher at the moment.
-Mockingbird is pretty much the most notable comic book hero that they've got right now.
-Hunter is just really fun, especially since he called Not-HAMMER out on their BS. He's more like 616 Hawkeye than MCU Hawkeye is right now.

Why would Coulson trust Crappingbird with anything after the **** shes pulled ?

Unless he's a petty/vindictive idiot. Which I hope isn't the case.

Because she's a loyal S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, and that's something he needs.

Not loyal to HIS SHIELD is the big difference. Coulson would have to be an idiot. To trust Crappingbird & Crack & Simmons & May after this

No interest in a show with these two. Give me someone new, non-SHIELD related.

Hmm... not quite what I was expecting from a spinoff. Using the Hunter character feels like an obvious attempt at expanding his Hawkeye-lite role, which I'm not too sure about.

That said, I'd be down for calling it Secret Warriors with a team of Mockingbird, Hunter, Deathlok & Quake. Make them Coulson's black ops team with a moral compass, throw some fun espionage/action sequences in and that could be a pretty entertaining show. I'm not sure where that would leave the main AoS cast, but there are enough corners of the Marvel universe to still explore without overlapping too much.

I want these characters to stay on AOS . They added something new to the series and it works better with them involved. If this is true I hope it is just a mini series

maybe hunter flips. spy show and all.

civil war out 16th of may 2016. some relevance surely to at least one of the two new marvel shows.

That would make Hunter just as ****** as the other traitors. A show with two ****** main characters ? Bound for failure

maybe he dies heroically and his death galvanizes bobbi to change sides. his role in the show is in a set of flash backs each episode where some spark of wisdom is imparted, or maybe not, not my job to write this stuff. The marvel writers are better at it, done a fairly good so far so when you dismiss their stuff before it even airs it doesn't hold much credibility.

The way I see it since May put the original team together & the MAJORITY turned out to be traitors & May herself. Next season should be Coulson, Fitz & Hunter & Skye & Mike. Coulson brings in new blood. May sucks at reading people & selecting team members

Gonzales' faction, Coulson's faction, it doesn't matter. It's still S.H.I.E.L.D.

My initial reaction is...meh. Be glad to give it a shot when it premieres, but I've got zero interest or expectations at this point.

And yes, moar Agent Carter please.

Something's going to happen to show both sides that they really are on the same side.

Who's Crack (Skye, maybe?), and why would Coulson not trust her (or him, if Crack is someone else and is a guy)?

If anything, Morse is the less extreme of the named Real SHIELD people, and is more likely to turn on Real SHIELD sometime soon.

So now that they have a fairly large and interesting cast they decide to split it across two show that will probably be very similar...

Seems like a big mistake.

I think they can afford to do it as I really feel Agent 13 is around the corner, and there still may be others coming with her...

my thoughts exactly
AoS doesn't have the ratings (or the beloved characters) to support another, similar show
it's SHIELD over-saturation, and it won't be good for either show
