The more I think about it, the more I don't want this show to happen. Lance and Bobbi have been very well integrated with the main team, and I don't want another big cast shake up. Coulsons team was torn apart at the end of S1 with Ward going evil, and in the beginning of S2 with Simmons and Fitz going through drama. Lance and Bobbi have sort of filled the space Ward left behind while being good characters on their own. Taking them away from the team makes no sense.

televison is loaded with spin offs

Yes, television is loaded with spin offs. The difference being that the other shows that launched the spin offs were much more popular than AoS is. There's a definite risk that spinning off characters will weaken the mother show and that the spun off characters can't support a show by themselves.

I agree they belong on AOS. If they're still "agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." they should be on the show.

It could star Rosario Dawson and feature the other Night Nurse characters, and could be like Marvel's version of Diagnosis Murder or Quincy. I don't think we'll see Captain America, Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Luke Cage, Doc Strange, Sentry, Spider Woman, Daredevil, Wolverine, Thing, Iron Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Iron Patriot, or various other prime Marvel characters in this spinoff for varied reasons, too expensive, already have own show, Marvel doesn't have the rights, etc.

Since movie Clint Barton is based off Ultimates, it looks like Lance is the surrogate 616 Clint Barton so that also fits with Secret Avengers. I was also struck by a Bobbi/Jess vibe with Bobbi and Kara so I think she would be involved, too.

Taskmaster is one of the best martial artists in Marvel. Ward got beat up by May(a 50 year old woman).
Please don't make Ward Taskmaster. Or Frank Castle or whoever. He's doing great as he is.

Oh God, tell me its not the return of the season 1 misogyny. Ward got beaten up by May, because *May is better than him*. Simple as that. And Taskmaster actually isn't that great a martial artist, he just uses his skill mimicry powers to fake being a good one, and cheat in other ways.

I'd watch it... but it wouldn't be called a AOS spinoff

It would technically be as much a spinoff as "Fear the Walking Dead"

I really hope they don't do a Bobbi & Hunter spinoff. That has to be just about the most boring possible subject matter they could pick. It's not that I don't like their characters, the cute dynamic or whatever just isn't enough for an entire series. An Inhumans series could be outstanding but I have to imagine the budget would be immense.

Agreed I'm glad their staying on AOS. It's a better show with both of them on it. Personally if ABC does another show im hoping for a Cloak and Dagger show. I think they would make a great series but who knows. I'm happy with what ABC is doing and Netflix is killing it so far.

Well I couldn't see what would be that interesting about an AOS spinoff with Bobbi and Hunter. Those two aren't interesting enough to sustain a show all on their own, and it's not like AOS is so super strong.

If there were another Marvel show, it should be a superhero show. No more spies. Just something straight up fun and unashamedly comic bookish like the Flash.

This is good news not that I dont want another Abc Marvel show... but they should focus on season 3 and with a spin off that would have been run by Aos staff, the quality might decline for season 3 because the writers would be working on two shows. That happened with Grey's Anatomy after they made a spin off show and no more Emmy nominations for best drama after that.
