And you know for fact that she's not a big fan of either?

She could be. But sooner or later these guys:

The_Avengers-1.jpg

will know that Coulson is alive. Right now the only movie characters who know that Coulson is alive are Sitwell (now dead), Fury, Hill and Sif, although I do not know if Romanoff and Barton know.

Hill knows that Coulson is alive and Koenig does too.

Why not give this show a chance for one of the Avengers to find out that Coulson is alive? If it is an Avenger, that Avenger may go the "I need to see it to believe it" route. That is why many of us speculate that an Avenger may appear. They have to find out sooner or later that Coulson is alive....at least one of them anyways.

Sorry forgot to look if that was already posted my mistake

When we last saw her she was [BLACKOUT]applying for a job with Stark. Is she going to be the liaison between the team and their likely new source of funding?[/BLACKOUT]

You know, given that Hill is showing up, and at the end of TWS
She applies for a job at Stark Industries,
could the guest star who Chloe was geeking out over potentially be
Robert Downey Jr?

That or Evans are my guesses.

Since HIMYM is over I would be all for Smulders becoming a regular next season.

I'd vote for Hawkeye since that would explain where he was during the events of the movie!

No it wouldn't, every AoS episode from here on out is post-CA:TWS. So him just being in a episode wouldn't be the explanation, he would have to talk about where he was.

yeah, having Hawkeye show up would just mess things up.

then you'd be like... well where the hell were u, Hawkeye?
better just leave him alone, he was off doing something... anything, of course he was... he's Hawkeye.

it's better to give these characters some mystery. Thor's off doing weird Asgard stuff. Hulk is freaking out, who knows? Hawkeye is out there doing missions, maybe he's deep undercover in East Europe, getting some lead on Strucker.

Re: Hawkeye (TWS possible spoilers ahead, I'll tag them just in case)

I've heard some people speculate that in TWS
The two guys that are talking right before Falcon, Cap and Hill show up at the Triskelion's communication (?) center near the end, are talking about someone being in Afghanistan (and that his car has been parked in the same spot for 2 months), that they're referring to Hawkeye. However, I'm pretty sure no name is actually mentioned mentioned though, so
.... it's nothing more than fan speculation at this point (I think)

Would have been nice if at some point Cap said to BW 'contact Clint' and she says he is undercover somewhere and can only be contacted by Fury.

I'm already sure Whedon is aware of fans' questions and will address it in a way in Ultron or whatever Marvel flick he happens to show up in before that one.

Eh... given the situation that Cap & Widow were in (not knowing who they could trust at SHIELD and likely very suspicious that communications of known associates were being monitored) I wasn't bothered by them not trying to contact Hawkeye (or any of the other Avengers, for that matter)

That's been my argument about why they didn't contact Iron Man or Hulk. When everything's compromised, who do you think you could trust more: Stark, Banner, or Steve Rogers?

I am interested to see the explanation for Hawkeye in A:AOU. I don't think they'll say, "Oh, well we didn't trust you so we didn't call you." Hopefully it's a good one.

Hopefully they don't even bother with explanations because I could not care less. Continuity is for fun and not some grotesque need to explain everything. I think that would only detract from the nice things the MCU provides.

I've been under the impression that Hawkeye was doing some deep cover work for Fury when the events of TWS happened so I'm not all that concerned as to why he couldn't be contacted or show up.

Well I think Feige has specifically said they will explain where Hawkeye's been. I don't know that they'll do that (or need to) with Hulk, but Whedon has probably figured out a smart way to do it with Hawkeye.

Feige has already stated that avengers 2 will address as to where Clint was during the events of tws.

Well if they have some good reason to show it on screen thats fine with me. I just hope they don't go out of their way to do it because I could imagine more interesting stuff. ^_^

This show is going to be canceled. I've actually started liking it, but if you have one of your lowest rated episodes right after the total awesome that is "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", you're screwed.

It isn't going to get canceled. A first year show doesn't get canceled when it's only dipped below 2.0 in 18-49 twice all season so far. Also I know people will say DVR ratings don't matter but it hasn't been below 3.2 in 18-49. I gotta think that it being a Disney/Marvel product and Disney owning ABC that helps hugely.

So if I'm Hydra, wouldn't I know Hand wasn't? So if she asks me to join hydra, I'd know it's a test and say no?

But if I'm not hydra, maybe I say I am just to save my own skin so I can later take them down from the inside? But then Hand shoots me dead on the spot.

So if I'm Hydra, wouldn't I know Hand wasn't.

Not really. Since they were "in the shadows" they probably just worked in cells and couldn't know all the other Hydra agents. This was shown when Garrett called out to the group of Hydra thugs that were mixed in with SHIELD agents. He knew some of them were Hydra, but not which ones.

yeah i caught that, very cool.
[BLACKOUT]and he thought it had been scrapped but his invention was being used by top SHIELD brass all along heheh[/BLACKOUT]

Bill Paxton character commented that higher ups get all the cool stuff (toys)
