I've heard a theory that Nick Fury was injected with GH-325, which would explain how he healed up from getting attacked by the Winter Soldier twice in CA: TWS.

Could have tested it on himself first years ago too.

It'll be interesting to see how they connect an episode early in season two to the Guardians of the Galaxy.

They kind of had already. T.A.H.I.T.I. had a Kree body, and Fury was involved, so who knows what we really don't know about THAT and how long it's been going on.
What bugs me, is why haven't they used the GH 325 on Peggy Carter? It COULD at least stop some aging and reverse it to a point

30 Rock is a good analogy for this. It lasted seven seasons with mediocre ratings.

But I imagine it was cheaper to make than this show.

No may about it, TWS has seemingly revitalized a rather lackluster (IMO) series.

Honestly, the film was so good I look back at TFA in a far better light.

One of the little touches that I also liked was Triplett screaming at Garrett in rage. Not only did his friend/mentor betray him (and everyone else) but also killed some of his own comrades. Britt played that shot perfectly.

Such a good show, I'm confident that this will pick up after the obligatory netflix run and people getting to watch it in short succession just like season 1 of Arrow

It was a good scene, but ... Agent Garrett (Paxton) admitted to Coulson, May, and Fitz about killing off his own loyal team members that he didn't trust with keeping the secret of Hydra. That really is a big RED FLAG for me about Agent Triplett's future role. Garrett could have been planning for Hydra to kill Triplett for him when he left him at the Hub, but that doesn't seem plausible to me.

How much do you guys want to bet Garrett either has or will obtain superpowers? We've sort of been lacking an actual superhuman villain this whole time.

Also, does anyone remember how many episodes Bill Paxton was hired for? Because if it was four, "Providence" is the end for him.

It was a good scene, but ... Agent Garrett (Paxton) admitted to Coulson, May, and Fitz about killing off his own loyal team members that he didn't trust with keeping the secret of Hydra. That really is a big RED FLAG for me about Agent Triplett's future role. Garrett could have been planning for Hydra to kill Triplett for him when he left him at the Hub, but that doesn't seem plausible to me.

He said he killed them because they dug too deep. Triplett probably didn't dig deep enough to warrant a killing, probably because he was always with Garrett who kept him away from seeing too much.

Remember they had mixed Hydra and non Hydra guys on squad's as the security team that showed up was only mostly Hydra when they killed the few guys that weren't.

So what happens with all of the lesser SHIELD Agents we have seen throughout the show?

Unemployment. Jobs in civilian enterprises. Jobs with other Intelligence Agencies. Private Military Contractors. Mercenaries. Any facilities as dark as TAHITI wouldn't even know SHIELD's gone.

If I wanted to debut Jimmy Woo, Carol Danvers, Bobbi Morse, Clay Quartermain, Jessica Drew (if she's not Skye), Daisy Johnson and Abigail Brand into the show or the MCU in the future, that's how I would debut them rather than have them debut as former SHIELD Agents.

But that's just me.

I'm actually wondering on how long Coulson and his team will be able to operate because I would imagine that their funds will be limited, now that SHIELD as a whole is gone and that the only things they really have left to use are whatever is left from their bases that weren't compromised or destroyed.

When I was coming up with plot ideas for a Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) film, one of the questions I had was whether it made more sense to have her be a USAF pilot, or a SHIELD pilot. That's no longer a significant question. The other sticking point I had was why Carol would have to deal with the alien threat more-or-less alone, instead of having SHIELD pop up and fix things. That, too, is no longer an issue.

Ultimately, not having Daddy SHIELD around to solve problems is a huge benefit to the MCU, and a boon to its future scriptwriters.

Heck, they could start up a new agency to replace SHIELD. They could call it SWORD and have Abigail Brand be the director and Carol Danvers and Daisy Johnson as an operative.
