i thought all roles related to beta ray bill and his extended family were reserved for
sarah jessica parker?

She should've popped up when Thor went into the pet store and asked for a horse in his first movie.

^ LOL

oh and if Ward is anybody, he's Batman

That will just make this series rather run of the mill in the long run, rather than something that really stands out. Every other show has someone who goes undercover in some way, whether defecting or seeming to be a double agent, and it always turns out that they were a triple agent of some sort. It's all been done before for decades. Do Marvel really want to be so unoriginal, when here is a chance for them to be original and ground breaking?

Dark Ward and Raina :hubba
Dark Ward is Hydra he isn't a Triple agent how many people does he need to kill? :jedi

Raina is creepy I want to know why she loves flowers.

I'm not sure I'd call that original and ground breaking. 24 and the X-Files both had their fair share of double agents that remained villains until the end over a decade ago - [BLACKOUT]Nina Myers and Alex Krycek[/BLACKOUT] being two of the more notable ones.

Still it would be nice if Ward takes that route.

so ward had time to pick up a dress on the way to the fridge? now we know what he carries in his backpack

And since those were such a long time ago, there's no need for blackout spoilers.

And 24 had a larger, revolving cast. There weren't only 6 main regulars. AOS's size of cast is about the size of Buffy or a Star Trek series - maybe slightly smaller.

With the X-Files, it wasn't one of the main cast like Mulder, Scully, Skinner, Doggett or Reyes. Having Ward be a villain all along would be like Scully actually being a villain.

Dollhouse did it first. Joss Whedon is not that original after all... :woot:

The thing about Dollhouse is that they portrayed everyone behind the dolls as a bit shifty and suspicious anyway. It's not like they all seemed completely benevolent but there was always the hint of something more sinister behind it. So it wasn't as much of a 180 degree turn for someone like Harry Lennix to be revealed to not be quite as much of a hero as we might have possibly thought (if we ever did in the first place).

The dolls were almost like Bucky Barnes - mind wiped and brought out of their slumber whenever a mission required them - so the keepers of the house came off more like Pierce and his Hydra crew.

It's not the same as Ward, who was thoroughly portrayed as a hero, now revealed to be bad all along.

dont worry, they have a secret stash of GH325 in fury's bunker

Yeah, it was the same. The one trully benevolent, the one goog guy, the one we all believed was trustworthy, the one that cared... it was a shock. And it was a shock because nobody saw it coming. We knew he wasnt perfect, he had a past, but he was the one nobody saw coming as bad. THE big bad. 180 turn indeed. This is Dollhouse all over again. Its not a problem, of course, but lets not try to make it the first time its ever donne either.

Boyd was portait as a hero. We never knew why, but we got hints of having a good reason for be were he was. We was associated with being a cop, we were basically told he was here to protect somebody. They tried to make a paralel between Boyd and Ballard as good guys in the house of sin. And its not that he wasnt as heroic as we thought he was. Its not that he wasnt as good as he was supposed to e. He was THE BIG BAD. A psichopath. Boyd was more shoking than Ward by a mile. But as Ward, a supposed good guy principal who was evil all along.

Of course the whole show was more shadowed and grey than SHIELD. But its the same story in theyre own contexts. He was as much a hero as a hero could be in that show, just like Ward in his.

But i guess you could say we disagree on mere details. ;)

You have a point.

I agree. At first I thought Ward will be a triple agent where he will double cross everyone and redeem himself at the end, but it will be too conventional if they go this route. If they want to be ground-breaking, then they have to let Ward be a real Hydra until the end, even if he is conflicted about it.

Does Ward still have the hidden intel from the plane's hard drives?

Yes. Also Ward
is receiving new orders via his eye implants after he kills Hand. This means Garrett isn't pulling Ward's strings.
So who is?

Nick Fury as part of a gigantic triple bluff. Ward agreed to become a sinner in order to rescue SHIELD from HYDRA and itself and this is all a big, deep cover ruse to root out the HYDRA rats and the Clairvoyant.

When did Ward get [BLACKOUT]eye implants[/BLACKOUT]?

What makes you think Ward has an eye implant, or any other cybernetic attachments? Yeah, he's a super-agent, but nothing he's done in the show so far indicates cybernetic powers/hardware like Deathlok or Akela.

I think it would be interesting if James Rhodes,Sam Wilson,Black Widow, and Hawkeye showed up in a episode or two.
