Honestly, all I wanted was a few reactions from people who love DC comics and loved MOS, because that's me. The early twitter reactions from the Regal VP of Marketing dude, the Batman dead end director and the guy who tweeted in all emojis (forgive me, I forget his twitter handle) I'm good to go on the reaction front.

It's so funny how worked up SOME people get over reactions, reviews, RT scores, etc.

I know it matters in terms of word of mouth, but this film is going to make money. Justice League is happening.

So frankly, all I care about now is seeing the movie.

I hate how RT scores have become so ingrained into movie discussion. It's like people treat them as sports scores when debating who's team is better. Movies simply don't work like that.

Welcome!!! Rules to remember:

1. Don't complain about the destruction in MoS
2. Don't talk about the destruction in Man of Steel
3. Always refer to Superman as "Man of Murder"

Ok, thanks. :yay: (I love MoS btw)

It’s impossible to know everything in the DC universe, but I threw myself into it and tried to learn as much as possible and I found such intelligence in so many of the comics. Obviously Frank Miller is a well-known and respected writer who influences this film very directly. Also writers like Grant Morrison, who asks difficult philosophical questions in an extremely smart way. I tried to take in as much as I could while also keeping a little bit of an outsider’s eye.

Never take too much Grant Morrison in at one time. It's dangerous. Take frequent breaks in reality.

You know, the farther we get from Final Crisis, the more I think it is one of the best comic book events ever. It is huge in scope while being confined to the viewpoints of individual characters.

The delays when it was coming out and the artist switch towards the end really hurt the book as it was happening. But now, read as a whole, it is definitely right up there. Secret Invasion from Marvel was happening around the same time and that has aged horribly. Bendis and Johns are both brilliant at writing events which are basically a given point in time, I feel Morrison's event comics will survive longer.

I have to re-read it. I didn't like it too much the first time through but I'm more versed in the language of the DC universe and Morrison now.

So I assume you guys have already discussed about Mark Millar's opinion on the BvS trailers?
It's funny the response when someone says he feels like he's 80% vs a calculated 9%

from the fan event in China

Zack draw a picture, showing that he made the trinity together on screen possible -- holding the trinity in his hand :woot:

I've always loved Final Crisis. I never understood the polarized reception it received. It was a monumental story that really expressed the feeling of despair and hopelessness an event like this would cause. To me it is perhaps my favorite of the 'Crisis' stories, second being Zero Hour, and then Identity, and infinite, and so on.

My 3 times in 4 days has been changed to 2 times not happy :csad:

Is Civil War shot in digital?

Because between BvS and Civil War/Winter Soldier, the digital-ness is painfully noticeable.
