Thanos's weapon is jewelry and Darkseid's weapon is math.

Which is why Darkseid will always be more frightening.

I love the idea you guys have up there of Superman doing the Kneel Before Lex moment to set up Lex's fall to their alliance, or perhaps Lex cutting Doomsday loose.

Honestly, if the plan is to eventually have Superman and Batman from the strong friendship/partnership that they've had in past comics, then I can't wait to see on how they go about doing it...especially considering on how in this universe, they start off as enemies.

So according to Turkish Airlines, BvS is the 2nd most expensive movie of all-time with an production budget of $350M

...they are the experts after all...

I let Turkish Airline do my taxes too...

$350M including the promotional campaign (marketing)? If not, should exceed $400M easily.

I bet $10 that's its budget excluding marketing is under $300M

I think it's safe to assume it will make a profit. WB obviously thinks so.

I might have said the movie would even stack up Star Wars money if the marketing campaign hadn't been questionable

From the new airlines trailer thingy. Looks like they changed the filter. I like it more like this

P.S remember the first pic is lower quality because of the video quality

The Doomsday reveal was not a good move from WB.

Yeah, I have a hard time believing that this film's production budget is 350 Million. From everything that we've seen, I would take a guess and say that it was around 225-250 at the very most.

The only way that their budget would be that high is if some of the cast members had expensive contracts, they filmed at several expensive locations, and created several elaborate sets, along with employing very high quality effects for nearly everything.

If that were the case, it wouldn't be the 2nd most expensive production ever. MoS cost $225m without P&A costs. This production is not only bigger (with bigger stars), but clearly features a lot more sets and less on-location shooting than that one did. I believe that number. That said, it'll make its budget back regardless.

I'm pretty sure they filmed in Detroit to keep cost down, no?

Sorry for probably being behind on this, but it's the second most expensive production ever? That's confirmed? Wow.
