I might miss the potential news from the Superman panel because I have to be at work. I may be able to catch while I'm there. So many awesome news stories coming out of San Diego.

as long as year one still exists I'm good.
So no flash or Jla news?
I am thinking the little ending is a setup for the MoS panel. We will probably get more details on all of this there.

Another is how he is going to direct the action. I've ALWAYS wanted to see how he directs Batman.

Hopefully we'll finally see a Batman on screen with some awesome fight moves. I've been waiting to see a good Batman fight scene since I was a little kid.

Alrighty then...Gary Busey for Bruce Wayne/Batman. :woot:

I don't know how I feel about this really. I think I would prefer Superman getting his own sequel.

A cameo is one thing but sharing the title -- eh.

lol they should have had JGL read the line at the wb panel.

Yeah, it sounds like they have no confidence in the character.

Oh lord...the Batman/Superman board here will not be pretty...bloodbaths everyday.

There's already people *****ing about it so it's already began haha.

So MOS 2 featuring Batman or full on teamup?

Lmao...They aren't going to shoot themselves in the foot and have Batman play a mere supporting role in the first ever superman/batman film. Because that's what it is...you don't make a superman film featuring Batman.

Looks like you'll have to wait much longer for your standalone superman sequel.

Snyder and Goyer writing the script???? Errrmmm no thanks, bring Jonathan Nolan to help or it will be a disaster. Let's face it people as much as you guys loved MOS, it suffered from a weak script, some bad and cheesy dialogue. Goyer is hit or miss, it's Snyder co-writing I'm worried about (see Sucker Punch). :(

I am a bit worried that Goyer is writing Batman without a Nolan.

it just seems to me Warners panicked over some of the reaction Man of Steel has gotten and have decided to bring out the big gun team up rather than a Man of Steel sequel.:csad:

Batman and Superman together at last. The bromance of all bromances. I foresee a lot of slash fanfiction.

This film will either be glorious, or a complete train wreck. And the amount of wank generated by the fandom masses will be truly epic.

Either way, I am going to be really entertained for the next two years.

-gets out tub of popcorn and settles in for the show-

Or they just went "oh look we finally made a profitable superman! lets do the Superman/Batman film that we've been trying to do for decades"

No but your theory sounds much more plausible.

I feel the opposite. I think that they are concerned about finding a new Batman and restarting the series, after the successful trilogy they just came off of.

I suspect that this has more to do with the Batman franchise than fears about the Superman franchise.

I don't care what others think, as a comic book fan I could not be anymore pumped. Avengers 2 and MOS 2 WITH BATMAN. :D

Why would Warner be panicking when they've pocketed 630+mil on Man of Steel alone...? They'd only dream for that kind of money when they released Batman Begins.

It sounds more like "let's see what MOS can do, then we'll release DCCU."
