The smirk worked. It wasn't like a psychotic "I'm gonna strap a bomb onto you and drop you down a hole before you blow up" smirk like Michael Keaton, but it was a "not my first rodeo, blue boy" ten steps ahead Batman.

Well i say. I am stocked. The movie has a lot to deliver, but i'm pretty confident it will.

To the people who don't like what they see, or are super negative about the movie, i feel for them. C'est la vie.

I'm amped as hell. In spite of my reservations... it's the Big Three on screen together, and they've never looked better.

As a fully paid up member of Nolan's Batman, I have to say this looks pretty dosh darn good. Know its only a teaser but it delivered in spades.

Hope Snyder/Affleck can pull it off and glad they are going in a different route to Nolan's, made sense to anyway.

A King Kong prequel with a Kong that looks more savage than Peter Jackson's

I'm with jmc on this one. I mean, it's exciting that we're getting a live action of the trinity now, the pictures are eliciting some sort of giddy-ness inside me and as a DC fan, I want that, but the team behind the making of these films just doesn't inspire confidence in me; plus, Marvel has beaten DC in terms of influence on pop culture, on the general public. Back when the Avengers wasn't in public's consciousness, "Justice League" was the term used to describe a coming-together of certain things or people, now it's "The Avengers".

I'm not going into the same old tired "Marvel vs. DC" territory here as I like most of the Marvel films, even those who are considered "not good" films by hardcore fans like Thor 2 and Iron Man 3; to me they are fun films that I would sit down and look at whenever they are playing on a TV channel. It's just that I've grown with DC Characters, they are much closer to me and of course I want good things to happen with their films and I want other people to enjoy them the way I enjoy them. But, from the looks of it, it's not happening, as people are even calling them "B-Team Avengers".

Because they haven't seen the film yet. These things have a remarkable way of turning around. Look at how the reactions to Batfleck and WonderGal have done a complete 180.

Like I've said, the team making this just doesn't inspire confidence. Specifically Snyder... we know how he makes his films, his previous works are my basis for how will his future films will turn out so logically, my advanced reaction would be that this film will be like his previous films that aren't really bad but isn't good either - not good enough to turn the general public to prefer DC over Marvel.

Like I've said, I don't want to go there... I enjoy most of Marvel films, but DC is closer to me. Read the entire conversation. My point here is I fear that this Dawn of Justice will still not be a good film for general audiences to enjoy like they did with Marvel films.

Yes like Pixar, Marvel is becoming a movie brand . But, you're really sure that the GA care if it's a dc or a marvel?They go see movies.

As for me i respect that it is one of your concern, but i don't think that it is a big deal ether way. As a Shh member, i think it's best to move on

Anyways, as for me, all i care is : See some of my favorites characters onscreen, and hopefully in a quality movie. Snyder has flaws in some area, but has strenghts too. And he has an asset that i heard of this time: a good script.

I care when the general audiences is calling this new film a B-List Avengers.
