Superman: Who are you?

Batman: I'm Batman!

Superman: So what can you do?

My idea for the story would involve Wayne coming to metropolis for a business venture with lexcop. They both share a fear/mistrust for superman and use their monry in resources to start development on a defense mechanism for humanity, feeling that humanitys only defense from freak aliens and super villans shouldnt be another freak himself. So they develop kryponite. Maybe it should be less intense than in the comics, like it just drastically weakens him as opposed to potentially killing him, but it would give batman the ability to fight supes an give lex the backstory for.hating superman and having the means.to hurt him. i think a manufactured kryptonite is a good way to introduce it into snyders world and makes a lot of other plot points work. The difference between lex and wayne is superman gains batmans trust and lex becomes bent on killing superman, developong his robot suit etc. just my two cents on a potential story

Is it too soon for a BO thread? I'm curious what the options will be. :funny:
$5 billion tops?

In that case, let's bring Ryan Reynolds back too and get a real party goin'. :o

Since there is no Henry Cavill thread, I thought I'd put this here.

He looks a guy straight out of the 40's and 50's in this!

"We do not speak of..."

Oh lord was that amazing. I love that despite all the crap Routh and Cain get they are great sports and I think, great ambassadors for Superman.

I was wondering how many kryptonians were in the Black Zero the militar and including jax-ur.. counting the ones who were fighting against jor-el's hologram and lois lane...and which do you think survived in the Phantome Zone?

Looking back on MOS, the film really did establish Superman as a powerhouse and a force of good not to be reckoned with.

I sincerely hope that Goyer and Snyder don't allow their love for Batman to cloud their view on that and the importance of Superman in the new DC universe that they're trying to create. After having come off of a film where Superman defeated Zod and his kryptonian army on his own, if Batman were allowed to beat Superman in such an anticlimactic matter, they would have literally wasted 225 million dollars in having made MOS since everything that they did to build up Superman would have been for naught.

Now since I'm all about equality, I wouldn't want Batman to be shown losing either, or looking bad when put against Superman. But, IF Goyer and Snyder really crap on Superman like how Singer, Ratner, and Fox did on Cyclops in favor for Wolverine, I really hope that Goyer and Snyder are forever scrutinize for it the same way Joel is for having made Batman Forever and Batman & Robin and that those two are never allowed near an DC property again.

I don't think they would crap on Superman.

me either, they worked too hard to tarnish what they did

making batman cool is easy you dont need to tarnish superman to do it

More importantly why the hell was that shot not in Man of Steel!?

I hope you guys are right. I think Batman as a character, has already had his time in the spotlight, and granted while this is a new Batman, I think the character in general can wait a while before he's allowed to completely shine again.

Superman still needs more exposure and to be done right.

Also, I cannot stress enough on how important it is that Goyer and Snyder do not fall into another cliche and add a stupid love triangle in this film. Like someone here said, let the only romantic aspect of the film be between Clark and Lois, while the budding cop thing belong to Superman and Batman.

More importantly why the hell was that shot not in Man of Steel!?

From my recollection, it was actually. It was shown during Zod's monologue to Clark about how Zod located Clark on Earth when he triggered the Scout Ship's distress beacon.

I'm not worried about this happening, but if it did, it would ruin it for me, too. I'm interested how Kryptonite is used in this universe. Will it completely incapacitate him like Donner's and Singer's universe, or will it be something that simply weakens him. I think the latter could make more of an interesting battle between Supes and Bats than if it's introduced and Superman whines while the crap is kicked out of him.
