So in the past couple days we got news/rumors
Of

-the Rogues featuring in Flash
-JLD getting a director
-Deathstroke in JL/Batman solo

Patiently awaiting something Wonder Woman related

Jaimie Alexander wore them in that one Agents of SHIELD episode:

Black Widow and Gamora also wear them, although Gamora's have a "hole" cut out from memory.

Funnily enough, the female superheroes who can fly / levitate in the form of Scarlet Witch and Supergirl and who arguably don't *need* sensible / stable shoes wear fairly practical low, thick / square heeled boots.

Anyway, as much as I dislike them in still photos, I didn't notice Wonder Woman's wedge heels in Dawn of Justice and I probably won't notice them in her solo movie either.

In the WW trailer you can even spot where the boots switch from wedges to lower heels :cwink:

It's like in the old TV show, you can see the switch where Lynda or the stuntwoman is running in flat boots or the regular heeled boots.

Yeah I don't remember seeing the wedges in BvS. I just don't get the point of them in this film. Ms Gadot is tall, her leading man is short , and it looks weird. Not a biggie though, and as said above they will likely conceal it in close shots.

And to correct Ms Jenkins , many men find Cavills freakish proportions and inability to lower his arms normally overkill. A nitpick of course, given the myriad issues.

No body cares about those wedges. If you didn't see them and they weren't a problem in BvS, then what is the problem truly? Wedges are way more comfortable than high heels while still making the legs look good. If you want to complain about practicability of that, why not nitpick over everything else. Her long hair, her lack of head protection, her thighs being exposed. It's a movie where people are supposed to look good. There really does need to be some news released for this movie, because oh boy.

I'm guessing the "many men" who don't like Henry's body are envious of her genetic gifts. The man is stacked so I get it.

Wait, Chris Pine is short?

Gadot's and her stunt doubles' ankles probably do.

I wonder whether the wedge heels contributed to Jaimie Alexander's fall and injury on the Thor 2 set?

Or maybe that was behind the scenes sabotage by Gal Gadot!

I know you are joking but other's don't, Gal is a nice person, she wouldn't do that.

I learned a lot in 3 minutes on this thread!

1.Chris Pine is a dwarf
2.RDJ wears 8 inch wedges
3.Henry Cavill is a disgusting steroid gorilla/freak (to many men)

Those wedges look much taller than the ones WW uses and seem quite a risk for balance. Indeed they may have contributed to that fall and serious injury Jaimie had.

I do not even understand the need for them to be that big. You can make people look taller in various other ways and Jaimie is not at all short either.

Hopefully they keep Gal in reasonably sized ones and alternate with more stable versions off-frame for long-term security.

I have a serious injury in one ankle that nearly incapacitated me completely for martial arts practice and I would not wish that on anybody.

But I also like Gal looking tall and sexy. :)

How very rude! I was being most serious.

I thought it was well-known that Gal Gadot intends to secure every female role in both the Marvel and DC Cinematic Universes and that her stealth attack on Lady Sif was just the first skirmish in the long battle ahead! Ms Gadot won't rest until she's Wonder Woman, Black Widow, Lady Sif, Scarlet Witch, Mera, Captain Marvel and more.

I wouldn't put it past Ms Gadot to ramp up her plans for comic book movie domination by also targeting male actors. That explains why Wonder Woman uses a shield - because Ms Gadot wants to replace Chris Evans as Captain America! It also explains the high wedges - because Ms Gadot wants to replace RDJ as Iron Man. The conspiracy is real and it threatens all of us comic book movie fans (although Ms Gadot fans will no doubt be pleased and jump to her defence).

Oh **** I didn't know Gal went all TONYA HARDING on the rival actresses to get the role of WW! I thought she just auditioned!

Ah, everything adds up.
Gal Gadot will fill the Captain America much better than that slacker Evans.
Two more posts on this and it will be a scoop for the clickbaiters.

I wonder if the Gadot costume will end up being one of the most influential aspects of her time in the part? It seems that the WW costume from BVS is getting popular among comic artists and fans.
