I thought Logan was good until the 3rd act and a certain reveal because it felt lazy imo
Yeah I didn't like [BLACKOUT]the Logan clone[/BLACKOUT] and [BLACKOUT]the whole forest/kids part[/BLACKOUT] at the end. Still, overall it was a great movie and like someone mentioned it's the end of a 17-year journey while this is WW's beginning.

My spoiler free mini review:

Great movie! Fantastic performances out of everyone, especially Gal. She shows an incredible range of emotion and is perfect.
There was plenty of humor in the film, and it didn't detract from the story or tone. It was well-paced, true to the characters, had a nice moral core, and had amazing visuals. Gadot and Pine's chemistry was palpable! I was worried about everyone adopting the Themyscira accent, but they were completely convincing. Ares looks so cool, and the final fight was impressive.

I will always have a special place in my heart for MOS, so this ties it for best in the DCEU. I wanted to stay in this universe so much longer than the 2h 21mins run time.
Mad props to Jenkins, Gadot, Pine, Snyder, and the cast and crew. So damn good. This gets me HYPED for the Justice League!

And yes, I'll be going again next Thursday in IMAX and again Friday to see it in 3D. I want to support this film and everything it stands for.

Was Gal's dialogue delivery OK ?

I remember a bit ago when CBG19 was on Collider Heroes and said that everything about the WW marketing screamed WB had no confidence in this movie and I remember thinking that was bull because to me it seemed they had more confidence in this film than BvS or SS. (frankly, I think she decided a while ago she'd hate the film).

And now WB is just like, "YOU GET AN EARLY SCREENING! YOU GET AN EARLY SCREENING! EVERYBODY GETS AN EARLY SCREENING!!!"

Not that bit but

The Logan clone ordeal, I would've rather them include Sabertooth

WW and Logan are two different types of CBMs tho

It is better than ok. John Campea and all the other bald bastahs who will probably take shots are just jealous.
I remember being really weary of Gal, but thought Patty could get a better performance out of her than Snyder. And I too was worried about the lack of dialogue in the trailers. But then I watched the recent clips and was very impressed with how much she's improved. I'm excited to see what else she does in the film!

I'm actually really tired of Campea and shmoes! Campea is just a a hole and the shmoes are annoying to me with so many forced jokes it makes the show awful! They should shut down that movie talk

Considering I watched BvS 6 times in the theatres, I'd say that's a given. :cwink:

Thanks buddy! As a hardcore DC Fanboy that I am it does mean a lot to me and I'm sure everyone! I love DC since I was a little boy and I want DC that I love to do just as good as marvel and always hope eventually better

I'm gonna watch it on 31st May. That's when it opens here in Singapore. How bout you guys? I can't friggin' wait! My most anticipated CBM this year was always JL, but all this optimism and positivity surrounding WW has shot up my hype!

And I cannot begin to describe how refreshing it is to see a DCEU film be so universally praised. It'd be such a welcome break not having to justify why you love a DC film.

So y'all can all agree it's better than marvels GOTG V2 this year?? :)

Haha yea. Because I can take it seriously, unlike GOTG2. And that's not a disparaging remark on the latter, just the honest truth.

The one thing I will say is that the movie isn't bright and colorful like the posters would have you believe. It has that Warner Bros, LOTR look to it, but I like that about it.

Oh gods yes. She is fantastic! So much range, and there is something captivating about that woman. Surprisingly great comedic timing, too!

I feel this movie will be right with other favorite origin movies like Batman Begins, Man of Steel and Iron Man.

You mean it looks like an epic superhero movie shot on film? :hmr:

Not until June 3 :csad:

I completely agree!

Absolutely. There was a little too much slow mo for my taste, but that's a very, very minor complaint. She's a bada$$, and there are some really nice fist pumping moments.

The movie had people laughing, cheering, and sniffling all at the right moments. And everyone clapped at the end :)

BTW Aula...aka WONDERWOMANSUPERFAN#1 will be very happy about many things if his critiques were legit.
