Can not be STRESSED enough....the No Man's Land sequence is an all timer. Dead serious when I make that statement.

Think in terms of the train sequence in SPIDER-MAN 2. Martha rescue in BATMAN v SUPERMAN. Cap versus Bucky in WINTER SOLDIER. Tumbler sequence in BEGINS.

It's that level.

Man my anticipation jumped to 1000000000000%

Nice to hear feedback from our own hype members, I value that more than any reviews.

Please stop posting spoilers in this thread. There are too many details being given away on the last page, even just in passing. It's not just about major spoilers, but even minor spoilers. Some of us have avoided trailers completely, so don't even want to know the details of scenes that appeared in there.

The full score has leaked.

And here's Sia's end credits song:

OH OH!!! I can't believe I forgot this, but Hippolyta gives little Diana a history lesson about Ares, the gods, and how Themyscira came to be, and IT IS GORGEOUS!
Simply stunning. It's CG, and made to look just like a moving Baroque painting. Oh man, I wish I could watch a whole movie in that style! I really hope they continue these stylized history lessons, because MOS and WW delivered. I know JL will have one and I hope it's in a similar, or at least unique in style.

I was under the impression that this isn't a spoiler thread. -.- I used spoiler tag in my quote as you should have because that's kind of a spoiler. Time to stop reading these forums. :whatever:

Great to hear all these positive reviews. That would've been the worst if we had been anticipating this movie for so long only to want to love it but just can't.

Is it fair to say this is better than Elektra and Catwoman then, or the 1984 Supergirl? :p

I went in expecting to probably think of it as a good movie with flaws but super enjoyable. I came out thinking I wish every movie was like this one. I felt like a kid again watching Superman: The Movie and Batman '89. If I was 10 years old this movie would have made Wonder Woman my favorite superhero. I am not even being hyperbolic there is a reason women are going nuts for this...it is a complete game changer. Not because it is different but because in fact it is cliche only not the way you think. They didnt need to play her as hypersexualized or in need of saving...Wonder Woman is the star she takes the reins and dominates in the way Superman and Batman did. Patty was able to do what people thought she couldnt, made Wonder Woman equal to the other members of the trinity based on her own actions and story.

And let me say again, the trailers dont do many of the awesome scenes justice. The No Mans Land scene which looks great already in the trailers is 10 times better when you see the whole thing. I would put it over the Warehouse Scene in BvS any day of the week and twice on Sunday. It is like 3-4 minutes of pure unadultrated Female Domination and it is all her, from beginning to end. My jaw literally dropped.

Oh and I should say...Diana gives Steve a look after the dance sequence that will make every boy and girl hit instant puberty. I kid you not.

Yep...I mean wowzers! :ilv:

Dude, Gal is so good as Diana. She excels in spades with the naivity, innocence, and wonder of an outsider, she leads the action with grace, and legitimately made me laugh multiple times with her comedic timing. It's hard to imagine anyone else in the role now.

This is so exciting. I'm deliberately keeping my expectations in check because I still can't believe that Gadot could be this good in the role but you guys have me believin'.

9/10 movie. My wife is a Marvel girl, and she said it might be her favorite comic book movie now.

That's awesome. :D :D

I thought I was being pretty vague but you are correct I will watch it :)

Not you specifically, but particularly posts from Supergrave and some others who are spoiling scenes in their enthusiasm, as if these are scenes all of us can rejoice over, when most of us haven't even seen this yet.

Yeah I hear you. Trust me I hope everyone goes in unspoiled :D

20 bucks says Wonder Woman is my all time favourite Wonder Woman film :cwink:

I am VERY curious what a WONDER WOMAN sequel would be like now that the origin is out the way and Jenkins got her feet wet.

With a blank check that she earned from this IMO, the sequel could be an all timer.

Joking aside, the Hype Rises.

I didn't consider that a spoiler, but sorry to those that do. We've known that JL has a history lesson for months, so it seemed acceptable to mention WW's very obvious one. Again, sorry if I spoiled anything.

Who would you trust to write it ?

Current team (Story - Zack Snyder, Allen Heinberg, Jason Fuchs, Script - Allen Heinberg, Geoff Johns, Patty Jenkins) did a good job, so maybe they should be given the charge to write for the sequel again.

Me too. I see people saying Jenkins for MOS2/JL2 and I'm like nah. If this is good, give her a WW trilogy. I am also very interested for her to tackle the WW sequel. They could go deeper, once the origin stuff is out of the way.Just like TDK, Spider-man 2, BvS etc. More of a character study.

Did they keep this shot? Hope so bc I absolutely loved it.

She just nails the wink, doesn't she?? Also Dat winning smile to go with it. Although I'm glad it's not in the movie. Who knows maybe it would have looked tacky in the movie. Winking in times of war, what in the world.......
