So I see:
The ice cream scene is in the film.
It is. Throw back to JL:War

I can't believe I'm saying this, but at this point I think I'm more hyped to see the whole "new dc logo/intro" thing than the actual movie XD. The opening logo was the last thing I thought I would read was so great about this movie.

Majority of 3D films being shown were made with normal camera and post-converted. You'll only get to appreciate it more if it was filmed using an actual IMAX 3D camera and projected in an actual (70mm) IMAX theatre --which in that case very rare for a feature film. It's mostly documentaries with run time of up to 1 hour that could get the most out of this technology.
But go ahead if you want to splash out a few more on 3D. heh
If you plan on seeing the movie more than once, you can (of course) experiment with different formats. For me, its usually just once (because of the $$$). And I tend to default to the native format. I.e., I saw Interstellar in 15/70 IMAX because it was shot in 15/70 IMAX. WW was shot in 2D; so seeing it in 2D isnt really a compromise (IMO).
I'm sorry your time was taken up like thatI forgot to post here that I wasn't able to see the movie this past Wednesday. I live outside of Memphis where the screening was so it took me a bit to get there. I got there around 6:30pm and they said the theater was full. First come first serve they said. Except for the press who they kept letting in. My pass wasn't really worth much unless I got there an hour early lol. Lots of people got turned away including some Dads with their daughters.
I was upset at first but I'll be seeing it on Thursday next week, so I'll live.
...I've barely ever watched a movie more than once in theatres though. I could probably count the number of times on one finger.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as I understand it, there are 3D cameras, there are 70mm IMAX cameras(the ones Nolan uses, and Snyder used for BvS), and then there are IMAX 3D cameras(that Bay is using for T5). They are all seperate.
However like you said, this wasnt shot using 3D camera, or an IMAX 3D camera, so there isnt much point in seeing it in regular 3D or Imax 3D.

i just noticed there's new tv spot called "WW vs Ares".
i know i shouldn't watch it but i don't know i can contain myself. Aug 25th feels like the distant future!
).I think it's actually an older one. But they've peppered the spot with critics' reviews (all raves, off course).
