Suicide Squad was a huge misstep, the script needed more revisions. In case of BvS, the movie was butchered at the editing table.
Moffat wrote Doctor Who's Blink in a weekend. There is no excuse. Not just revisions. Ayer needed more than six weeks to turn in a shooting script.![]()
I'm starting to believe a DC film might be the best reviewed comic book of the year...

It's early, but I'm thinking only Thor 3 can challenge it.
Will there be a backlash if this ends up with a higher RT score than the Dark Knight?![]()
I still haven't seen it, but my brother has and he said it was simply more of the same. Which he wasn't a fan of so.People always bring up the edit of BVS and the extended edition and so on... I honestly don't see it. It smoothed over a few edges for me, but it honestly didn't make THAT much of a difference. There are still a handful of choices that just make me ask "Zack... why?"
But lets not dig too deep into that can of worms...

There was backlash to everything in TDKR forum. Everything.Wasn't there backlash when TDKR didn't get reviews as good as those of TDK's? Lol.
And Batman and Robin is better then both. See, now everyone is happy.Suicide Squad > Thor 2![]()
I forgot about Logan. So yea it might not be the top rated, but things seem to be trending towards something close to 90 when its done.Let's Hope it stays above 90!! Gotta keep the Top Critics fresh!! But Yes I hope so too

We see who knew what they were talking about with TDW now.![]()
Agreed. It fixed one problem I had with it, but the vast majority of my issues with it could not have been fixed in an editing room.People always bring up the edit of BVS and the extended edition and so on... I have no problem with a good love story. If the actual good director wanted to do it, chances are it would have actually been a good movie. Not really. Patty's idea for Thor 2 was awful. Romeo and Juliette in space with Thor and Jane. The film would have probably been more competently made, but the story sounded bleh. If we could have gotten the story we got (Dark Elves, the Ather, convergence of the nine realms, Loki and Thor teaming up etc) with Patty's directing skills that probably would have been a good thrilling film.
Feeling good FC?Agreed. It fixed one problem I had with it, but the vast majority of my issues with it could not have been fixed in an editing room.
And yes, I think we can all say it was a good thing Patty Jenkins jumped ship on Thor 2. No director could have made that a good movie unless they re-wrote the whole damn thing themselves, and Patty ended up where she was clearly meant to be.t:

I am. I can't remember the last time I was able to walk into a DC film feeling confident I would enjoy myself.Feeling good FC?t:
