The Only good thing Suicide Squad achieved was to get an Oscar. :funny:

Will there be a backlash if this ends up with a higher RT score than the Dark Knight?:o

Suicide Squad was a huge misstep, the script needed more revisions. In case of BvS, the movie was butchered at the editing table.

People always bring up the edit of BVS and the extended edition and so on... I honestly don't see it. It smoothed over a few edges for me, but it honestly didn't make THAT much of a difference. There are still a handful of choices that just make me ask "Zack... why?"

But lets not dig too deep into that can of worms...

I'm starting to believe a DC film might be the best reviewed comic book of the year...

It's early, but I'm thinking only Thor 3 can challenge it.

Let's Hope it stays above 90!! Gotta keep the Top Critics fresh!! But Yes I hope so too

I still haven't seen it, but my brother has and he said it was simply more of the same. Which he wasn't a fan of so.

I hope there won't be!! Cause no matter what's higher or lower....we Still WIN with FANTASTIC MOVIES

I forgot about Logan. So yea it might not be the top rated, but things seem to be trending towards something close to 90 when its done.

So happy for Patty Jenkins.

Considering the barely-concealed hatred of women that exists in a not insignificant portion of all fandom?

Yeah, probably. :o

We see who knew what they were talking about with TDW now. :hehe:

Not really. Patty's idea for Thor 2 was awful. Romeo and Juliette in space with Thor and Jane. The film would have probably been more competently made, but the story sounded bleh. If we could have gotten the story we got (Dark Elves, the Ather, convergence of the nine realms, Loki and Thor teaming up etc) with Patty's directing skills that probably would have been a good thrilling film.

Agreed. It fixed one problem I had with it, but the vast majority of my issues with it could not have been fixed in an editing room.

And yes, I think we can all say it was a good thing Patty Jenkins jumped ship on Thor 2. No director could have made that a good movie unless they re-wrote the whole damn thing themselves, and Patty ended up where she was clearly meant to be. :woot:

Jon Berg thanked ZS.
Wait for certain bloggers fuming

i'm not gonna say another word about bvs, and as just noted, i do appreciate it, but i agree completely. the biggest problem i had with the film was it was bloated at 2.20 or whatever, and adding another half hour may have helped the general plot and fleshed clark out more, but it only further reinforced how poorly paced it was, when it took 3 hours to do what should have been done in 2, a problem it sounds like wonder woman doesn't have

Literally my biggest takeaway was "Okay, the Africa stuff makes a little more sense now... but I still don't like it so. :o"

I think it did make Superman look a little bit better during the courthouse thing, but otherwise...

I have no problem with a good love story. If the actual good director wanted to do it, chances are it would have actually been a good movie.

Feeling good FC? :woot:

Would you guys stop talking about BvS again, you're ruining the hype for WW :cmad:

Ditto. I'm not even into love stories but Jane would have been put to better use at least. It hurt to see Portman reduced to whatever that was in TDW.

A second rotten. No!!!!!!!! Its all down hill from here. :o
