Good thing is that some of us dont have their life's enjoyment revolving around whether this gets 91 or 88 in RT.

Similarly it's too bad a large number are obsessed by it

6 1/2 hours left till I can watch it!! Getting through the work day listening to the score on my route

If this gets 88 I won't watch it. :o

If this goes below 90, I mean what is even the point ANYMORE? REBOOT THAT ****. I'LL SIGN PETITIONS AND GO ON MARCHES

Seriously tho, 9 hrs to go for me. Hyped af

I will!! Though this thread will probably be dead by then.

3.5 hours to go.

Nah i don't think this thread will be dead. Look at all the other general threads for other movies and how active they are, particularly if the movie is well received. I think people could be talking about this for a long time to come!

Would love to see you recreate all the classic WW poses at the con.

“Really early on, before Patty came on the project, we put our toe in the water with two writers. They took completely different approaches on the material—one was the Crimean War and one was World War I, but a completely different World War I experience. We had quite a Writers Guild arbitration with a number of writers because we had a lot of writers, and then there were the preceding writers and the other incarnations of the development of Wonder Woman. But for our Wonder Woman we didn’t like the ultimate take on those scripts, even though they’re talented guys, and Zack [Snyder] and Allan Heinberg then collaborated on a story. We had a different director on at that time, and that director—which was OK’d by the studio—brought a number of writers on. We had more writers working with—everybody had knowledge because you can’t do it with the Writers Guild without telling everybody what you’re doing and everybody has to be OK—but we had more writers working at the same time than I’ve ever done. In the history of all the movies that I’ve done, it never worked out that way before.”

“While there are things that most of [the other writers] contributed that are in the script, there wasn’t anybody who ended up making such a contribution that they were able to get a credit. A guy by the name of Jason Fuchs got the third position in the ‘Story By’ so it’s Zack Snyder, Allan Heinberg, and Jason Fuchs, but Allan Heinberg got the full screenplay credit. Even though after he wasn’t able to finish working—he had to go back to the TV series that he was working on—Geoff Johns and Patty did a tremendous amount of collaboration. But again based on the rules they weren’t allowed to get any credit, but they did a lot of writing that stuck. So that’s the long-winded version of the answer being that we had a basic arc of a story, but scene to scene it really came together when Patty got involved.”

“One of the great things that came with Patty was this great use of Diana’s naiveté from living such a sheltered life on Themyscira. So even though she ends up […] becoming a fighter, she’s still pretty sheltered because she’s never been off the island. So she’s got no life experience really. When she meets a man for the first time that gives you great potential humor, and when she goes off the island there’s great potential humor just in her sense of what life is like and her finding out what life is like in man’s world. So a lot of the humor of the movie, or the circumstances, was pulled out by Patty.”

the DCEU will need saving all over again... like it so totally did already before :o:o:o:o:o:o #rebootDCEU

Saw this tonight. I liked it. Not as much as BvS UC, but A LOT more than SS. The finale was what it was, the cgi in the finale was good but was a bit choppy in other parts. The main problem I had with the finale was the dialogue, so so so cheesy and so much cliche. Altogether the plot was good and the action was fine but oh my god Patty what is up with the slow mo, c'mon. Enough is enough. I'd give it 3.5/5. The war scenes were awesome and the collision of Dianas naivete and the cruel world was very well executed.

What's dumb about a jet that can become invisible? The Avengers have invisible helocarriers and quinjets in the MCU, and those dont seem dumb.

In films with gods, god-like beings, aliens, interdemensional superbeings, superhumans, magic, advanced earth technology, super advanced alien technology, and highly intelligent humans with vast engineering and design capabilities you draw the line at jets that can become invisible?

Well, there are two issues with the invisible jet.

1. Many versions of Wonder Woman can fly. If she can fly, the jet is kind of redundant. Its why I generally think you should pick one, not both. However, it seems she can't fly in the movies ( jump good, yes ), so it's a non issue.

2. A jet of any kind, invisible or not, is a high tech piece of gear. Its more than a little bizarre having this show up from a non-technological society. Now, sometimes Themiscyra has plenty of technology. . . but most versions lean more heavily towards Greek myth and magic. If Themiscyra is a non-technological island where everything is handled via bronze age tech, innate superpowers, and magic? Your not going to have an invisible jet coming from there.

Or basically, the issue isn't the plausibility of a jet turning invisible. The issue is the plausibility of how the amazons ended up with one, and whether it fits with their style.

Thank you. I bought it for Comic Con. It's my first and probably only one so I figured I better do it right and go all out :cwink:

I love it! You wear it well. Very heroic, and very lovely.

I'll just use a curling iron and it will better than a wig. I have the greaves but I just have to fix them up a bit.

This costume cost twice as much as the one you attached. It looks like leather and its got all the accessories. It's really awesome. I got it from Aliexpress.

Greaves!!! That's the stuff. That's a VERY nice costume you have. I can see what you mean about the greaves, they look like they need to be stiffened up a little and a bit of detailing, but they're nice. You can rescue me any time.

Edit: I forgot to say the most important thing: I hope you enjoy the movie!

Saw it today... loved it. definitely a 8.5-9/10 for me. Gal was brilliant and the rest of the cast worked perfectly around her.

Thanks!!! I am so hyped for this! It can't come fast enough.

Well at least you explain your reasons. Most just seem to think of the image of WW sitting in mid air from the 70s TV series, and that's all they can imagine.

But it doesn't have to come from Themyscira. Even in Batman Begins, Bruce Wayne gets the Batmobile from a modified military vehicle that already exists. Elektra [BLACKOUT]gets her sais from someone she kills in the DD TV series. [/BLACKOUT]Ghost Rider got his spiked leather jacket from some other prisoner. In the Bond reboot in Casino Royale, Bond wins his famous Aston Martin DB5 in a poker match. Heck, even Terminator asks for some random guy's clothes, boots and bike.

It doesn't have to come directly from the hero to become associated with them. WW could get it from somewhere else but then just adopt it as her own, like everyone else does in movies.

I'm bummed I have to wait until tomorrow! I've been anticipating this for a long time. If it's as good as they're saying, I'm probably going to lose my mind. :woot:

So...probably from some handicapable parademon she let live.

I don't tend to put my pictures online so when I uploaded this photo to Aliexpress when I reviewed the costume I obscured my face. It's the only photo I have that shows the greaves.
I think it is a good idea to safeguard your privacy. You want a ton of fanboys stalking you.

Speaking of being transparent.....

Some of you guys really need to grow up and escape this little fantasy land where everyone's out to pick on your favourite comic book characters

I gave it a glowing review and I'll be seeing it again

Israel is so small that everyone knows everyone and I don't need any future employers looking me up on Facebook on Instagram.
