Don't like that cover. For me, it's either the theatrical poster or the tank one. I'd be okay if they go with the first poster.

It needs to be the tank or the between worlds poster. Cant wait to see what kind of special features they put on this.

Though I am pretty sure I will be getting the Target book edition to continue the trend I set for SS/BVS.

No Mans Land wasn't that great. The beach, village and climax were much more impressive.
From an action POV, yes there are more impressive sequences. However, the strength of the No Man's Land sequence is in it's emotional beats.

They're trudging towards the front. Diana wants to help with some horses. She's told no. She wants to help a wounded soldier. She's again told no. They get in the trenches, only for Diana to learn that the village across the way is being held hostage. When she once again vocalizes her desire to help, she is told that she cannot cross No Man's Land. She is told that men have spent the last year stuck in the exact same spots killing each other with no end in sight. She's told to let it drop, because it's a helpless and hopeless situation.

And without missing a beat, she basically tells Steve off, ascends from the trench, and marches her way forward. She gives hope in a hopeless situation, and help in a helpless situation. She had enough with standing by and did something when she was told there was nothing she could do.

This sequence was one of the film's most euphoric moments.

The No Man's Land scene was the best in the movie to me. It showed what the value of a superhero in war time can be--inspiration to strive to be more than just an order-taker, and stand for humanity. It was brilliant.

No Man's Land gave me legit goosebumps. I'll never forget how I felt when the whole scene played out. That was when the movie went from "solid origin story" to "high level CBM" for me. It alone justifies seeing it again in theaters.

It was the raw honesty of Diana genuinely wanting to help those in need that really sold that. It seemed like her Mother Teresa /Angelina Jolie moment.

"Mother Teresa/Angelina Jolie" :funny:

Just bought Wonder Woman by Greg Rucka: Vol. 1 (which includes The Hiketeia) for SUPER cheap on Comixology.

I know what the scene was trying to convey but I still find the others I mentioned more impressive on both a cinematic and emotional level. Especially when Diana realizes the duality of mankind.
And when she is fighting Ares for her world and beliefs.

You should add Tessa Thompson from IG to the list.

Mark Zuckerberg and the COO of Facebook also said some positive things about the movie.

Gal is getting more love from mcu actors than DCEU actors. Quick, someone start a clickbait article. :sly:

I grinned like an idiot during the No Man's Land sequence.

Steve: "You can't go out there."
Diana: "**** that."
*Music swells*

Yep me too! The look on everyone's faces as she just tells them "Bleep you I got this!" was awesome :)

That Ron Perlman tweet is awesome :)
