great poster by Japanese illustrator.

Other than the fact that her weirdly diminutive left hand isn't holding her sword, I love this.

The artwork looks to be inspired by what you see on a deck of playing cards. It may explain why her hands look like that?
Seems like the Japanese marketing of WW might not be very good at all
Wonder Woman doesnt need the kawaii treatment

It might end up quite a different movie to what Patty Jenkins produced, and Japanese fans might go in seeing something different and not liking it, thinking that this is what the movie is. But in the first place, they might have misinterpreted what Jenkins was trying to do.
Wonder Woman promoted in Japan with idol song A Woman Cant Sleep Alone, angering some fans

I get the feeling that WW might be promoted as something other than she is in Japan, and then movie-going audiences there won't like what this thing is and could dismiss the movie, not realising that it's the Japanese marketing's own doing and not the movie itself.
If her voice is dubbed in Japan, I hope Gal isn't given some very shy and demure kind of voice that makes her sound weak and submissive and lacking any authority. But it wouldn't surprise me if they did do that.

Six Flags announced today that Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster will open next spring at its Fiesta Texas location in San Antonio. The park says the new attraction won't look or behave like any thrill machine that preceded it. That's because instead of riding a set of two rails like traditional coasters, its narrow trains would soar along one 15.5-inch-wide steel track. It will be the world's first single-rail IBox track coaster.
The coaster will be "visually stunning," says Jeffrey Siebert, president of Six Flags Fiesta Texas. It will be set against the multi-hued quarry wall that surrounds the park. Visitors may be surprised when they first encounter the ride. "It's just going to look wrong, but in a nice way," Siebert adds. Instead of a wooden coaster's lattice-like timber structure, Wonder Woman will have steel supports. But its ultra-thin track won't require as many supports as a typical steel coaster. Chickola says it will look like a thin ribbon of track suspended in the sky.
The eight passengers aboard the coaster's trains will have unique views as well. Each car will have a single seat. There won't be anybody sitting to the left or right. And when they look to either side, riders won't see any track either. The single rail, a scant few inches wider than a foot-long sub, will be underneath the train. If passengers lean over the cars, they'll see straight down to the ground. "You're going to feel like your gliding through the air," says Chickola.
Wonder Woman will climb a 113-foot hill, drop about 100 feet straight down at 90-degrees, and hit a top speed of 52 mph. It will include overbanked turns and the free-floating sensation known as airtime. Among its three inversions will be a "180-degree stall," in which the train will roll halfway over and suspend riders for a few agonizing moments before it unrolls and returns them right-side-up.
Siebert says that it is going to be "odd to go upside down on such a tiny track. It will feel like you're riding Wonder Woman's whip." The ride's queue will include a crashed airplane, Greco-Greek architecture, and other references to the comic book world of the female superhero, whose popularity surged after the huge success of the recent Wonder Woman movie.
Gal Gadot, DC Comics and the whole Justice League gang are not the only big winners from Wonder Woman, the film franchise that has already taken in more than $780 million globally; it just seems to keep on giving (and is already gearing up for a sequel). The latest beneficiaries of the movies halo effect: Whitaker Malem, the London leather designers behind the super heroines metallic leather armor as well as the armor for her fellow Amazons. Theyre this seasons breakout British brand.

The Flash solo movie is one that hasnt been doing very well when it comes to pre-production, but it looks like WB is finally getting the wheels spinning on the project. The movie has been officially titled Flashpoint, and we get confirmation that other League members will be making an appearance in the film.
According to Forbes, Gal Gadot will be making an appearance as Wonder Woman in Flashpoint. Theres no official statement on just how much of the movie shes in, but if we follow the comics, Wonder Woman could be one of the main villains.
In the Flashpoint Paradox, Barry Allen attempts to save his mother from death, resulting in an altered timeline where he doesnt have his powers, and everything has basically made a turn for the worse. In the story, Wonder Woman was the lead of the Amazons who were at war with the Atlanteans, leading to most of the destruction on Earth. This was a result of a messy love affair with Diana and Arthur Curryone that ends with Diana beheading Atlantean queen Mera and wearing her helmet like some sick trophy.
Having Wonder Woman as a villain would be totally bonkers to see in Flashpoint, but I can see the DCEU wanting to keep Wonder Woman in a good light in the movie. You think the DCEU audience is ready for an alternate universe story?
Flashpoint is set to come out sometime in 2020. Justice League comes out Nov. 17.

So apparently the New York Alamo Drafthouse put on a special screening of WW for Bill and Hilary Clinton last night:

Let the outrage begin for all the non-former presidents who weren't included.![]()
I think this is very speculative. I don't think WB would possibly risk making Wonder Woman the villain of Flashpoint. Not when she is so popular, and audiences haven't even seen a Flash movie yet. Why would anyone side with him over her?

Even if she may have been at war with the Atlanteans in Flashpoint, it would be just like Iron Man in the comic Civil War. He may have been more of an antagonist and hated by readers, but the movie version never went that route. Marvel would never have risked making their most popular character a villain or for anyone to hate him. WW is surely the most popular character in the DCEU now and the most successful one. She is WB/DC's Iron Man.
Mark is not a scoop guy and he got Matt Reeves taking over Bat right and got the interview with Deb Snyder where she dropped the"Cyborg is in The Flash" exclusive (Variety actually wrote it as an exclusive like 2 months later, very sloppy).
So when he drops the release year and WW in FP in an actual report, he's not speculating. =)
Gal Gadot's performance in Wonder Woman, and the film's disruption of the macho-male ethos that seems to permeate the superhero genre, has inspired more than one grown woman to shed a tear mid-screening. (I say that from personal experience.)
But as turns out, Gadot's take on the Amazon princess was inspired by another royal named Dianathe Princess of Wales.
Last year at Comic Con, Gadot revealed that she watched a documentary on Princess Diana shortly before filming and kept the late royal, and her philanthropic efforts, in mind during her performance on-screen.
"Wonder Woman has the strength of a goddess and the heart of a human," Gadot said.
"She [Princess Diana] said she leads from her heart and not from her head. And I think the same is true of our Diana."
Proving yet again, that not all hero(ines) wear capes.
I'm not talking about whether she's in Flashpoint as speculation. I'm talking about her being the villain and about this article which is speculating on that. The Forbes article from which it came originally only said that WW was in FP. Nothing about her being a villain.
