His face just looks more chubby than chiseled in that manip, so i think he needs to lose a few pounds is all, not much.

And i have seen in King Arthur and Rome, so i know exactly what he looks like.

If the movie delivers and has a good release date with smart aggressive marketing the movie is a hit. You know the budget is going to be cheap so there's no way it loses money.

Jane hinted that he left the production because the script was so bad and LGF was unwilling to change it at the time. That same script subsequently scared off several directors as well, so apparently they got the hint because it's being rewritten. If they'd done that sooner they probably could have kept Jane on. This film seems to have self-corrected itself. May turn out for the best, too, who knows. Have to wait and see.

Yep. There was supposed to be an annoucement per someone involved. It was delayed a few days I guess as it just came out. When it was delayed I thought LGF and MVL were feuding over it or something. Guess not.

Everyone was complaining when they saw the first pic of TJ as the Punisher in the teaser, with his fair hair and slim build. So the thing to compare for all of you who say Ray looks nothing like Frank is a pre-punisher Tom Jane pic with current Ray Stevenson pics. Then decide who looks more like Frank. For me, its Ray 100%. TJ had total dedication to the role and beefed up, but I'm sure they'll put Ray on a exercise regime. It's hard to say Ray looks more like frank when comparing him to TJ in full punisher gear. But i'm sure when the production pics and teaser pics start rolling in all the Ray-haters will get excited. I for one am optimistic with this casting. Let's hope the film rocks and does the character and punisher legacy justice!!

It's more of the script wasn't his vision of how the Punisher should be. That doesn't mean it's the only good vision though.
