With Transformers being a blockbuster and DBZ in production, don't you they should do other animes.

    I think they should do:
Death Note(I know they made 1 in Japan and it was a big hit)
    Bleach
    Full Metal Alchemist
    Outlaw Star
    Voltron
    Rurouni Kenshin
    Gundam Wing

I thought Voltron was already being made into a movie?

Cowoy Bebop by far would appeal to people easily.

If he wasn't so old, I'd vote Clint Eastwood for Spike (or Vicious).

IMO Evangelion is destined for big screen awesomeness.

  10. For me Akira, Vampire Hunter D, Voltron, and Robotech would be amazing films if they were done right. But this is Hollywood and we all know how they love screwing up great concepts.

Akira is already a good movie. I don't see why they'd want to ruin it by re-making it in live action.

Mobile Suit Gundam (the original one, not Wing) would make a great film, as would Robotech, which is supposed to be a film eventually I thought. Didn't Tobey Maguire say something about it?

Loved Voltron as a kid, and would love to see a live action movie of it soon.

The Japanese didn't create it either. :o

World Event Productions bought like 6 reels of different anime and spliced them together reworking everything changing settings characters even the design of the entire show, they created an entirely new show out of scraps.

Transformers isn't really anime. it's an anime tradition (giant robots) and the toys were based on japanese toys. but the original story and toon are american
