Antje Traue IS Faora in The Man of Steel - Part 2

Little bit on the blurry side, but anyway...

Shamim Sarif with Rebecca Ferguson, Trudi Styler and Antje Traue, the female stars of Despite The Falling Snow.

She was hot, I just wish they gave her more to do. I would have liked to have seen a bit more character.

Goyer and Co. always could reintroduce the Phantom Zone as a plot device or as a battleground in the real MoS sequel (or threequel) or in the JL film, which in turn could give way to all sorts of opportunities including the return of Faora and the other remaining Kryptonians.
Bringing them back in that context also wouldn't feel as cheap and more like a surprise (imho) since the general audience didn't necessarily make the connection between the singularity over Metropolis and the Phantom Zone and instead believes Faora and Co. to have perished along Hardy and Hamilton in "some black hole".

Was just thinking about this & I'd love to see Antje in a horror movie. With the right writing & direction, I think she could bring some much needed sophistication to the genre in terms of female leads.

Still amazes me every time how original props you'd think the studio would never get rid of suddenly show up in someone's private collection, just like that. Everything does have its price indeed:

And two shots from some fancy schmancy dinner Antje attended a couple days ago:

I want her to be Evil-Lynn in a future film version of He-Man & The Masters of the Universe. Or Miriya Parina in a film version of Robotech. :awesome:

I want to see her battle Wonder Woman.

I think she'd make a good Bastila Shan in a Star Wars: KOTOR movie.

I'd like to see Marvel swoop her up & cast her as a character that is guaranteed to return.

Faora isn't likely to come back, so I think getting a Marvel character (that's a hero this time) would be perfect for Antje.

How about Zarda, AKA: Power Princess, from Squadron Supreme?

Seems like we entered a bit of a 'drought', eh?

Well, I'm not giving up hope just yet that Antje's recent relocation to Berlin might have something to do with principal photography for the 7th installment of a certain space opera supposed to kick off over in London within the next 2 months.
I mean, there has to be a reason why she attended that Annual Coach Evening/Children's Defense Fund event at Abrams' Bad Robot Prod. back in April 2013 other than to pose with a couple of old lady's purses, right?

An older headshot I dug up a while back:

Actually she didn't relocate to Berlin. She never left Berlin. She shared her time between LA and Berlin. She said that in that MoS interview in German.

btw. nic gifs of from the bts videos from Despite the falling snow can be found here:

That's totally possible. However it is dazzling to me, that in our day and age of copyright infringement lawsuits, intellectual property and so forth, that it is legal to use monologues from movies in which you aren't involved, and that are not even released, in a promotion video.

I would have expected that you have to sign some non-disclosure agreement or something similar to get the script for a Hollywood production.

But maybe Antje's German management is just a little amateurish. :woot:

That wonderful showreel is gone from youtube and vimeo
due to copyright claims from Troika which is another of Antje's agencies :csad:

"Anja Joos Management: Antje..." Dieses Video ist aufgrund des Urheberrechtsanspruchs von TROIKA nicht mehr verfügbar.

So I think I was right in the first place.

btw Antje played in another short film "202a" in 2006.

Unfortunately I didn't find any material from this movie. Maybe someone is more able than I am.

So bad azz!!!!

two wonderful Antje portraits:

This guy has a lot of further amazing work here:

btw: Did I/we miss some major Antje news? Over the last weeks/months Antje went down a few hundred ranks in the "Imdb Starmeter" per week. And in the last week she went up 1800 and is in the Top500 again for no reason

I guess 'quite a few' people did just finally catch up on MoS via Cable / On Demand (available since last week, I think), hence the sudden resurgence of interest in the actresses/actors involved.

Interesting variation on the original hairstyle. Add the characteristic white 'lightning bolt' side streaks and you basically have Elsa Lanchester as the Bride of Frankenstein.

That looks like a perfect explanation :yay:
