Most of IMDB's information is user-submitted. Anyone could have submitted that. I remember before Spider-Man 3 was released someone submitted that Rosemary Harris would be playing "Carnage/Aunt May".

I'd rather see Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the role. Yelchin is a good actor, but I can't see him taking on Harry's dark side. Plus, he looks a lot younger than our leading man.

Levitt is up for Riddler in Batman so we won't be seeing Levitt in this movie. Plus, Nolan has a nice track record of reusing actors so I would take that report as very solid.

No, that would just make for another poor story-line. There has to be at least some effort put into the story-line otherwise they will just screw up everything, again.
