the only arkham prison break that i'd like to see would be Bane blowing the prison open with a rocket launcher, as he did in knightfall. also, it'd be rad to see batman being sucked and trapped into arkham to deal with the villians as in Arkham Asylum, by grant morrison and dave mckean.

if they overdo the prison breaks for all the villiains it will seem like there is no point for Batman because he's not even making a dent in the levels of corruption and everyone that he get's locked up just blows their way out.

but i DO think it would be amazing to at least see a cameo of a Dr. Harleen Quinzel counseling the mad criminals.
and seeing Batman trapped with his detainees would be AWESEOME. awesome to the maxx.

Arkham played a big role in BB. I think it should play a much smaller role in TDK. As far as batman getting trapped in arkham goes - been there, done that in BB.

Have the now trashed and destroyed Arkham Asylum be Joker's base, have Harleen Quinzell be a police appointed criminal psychologist who Joker seduces.

I want to see Hugo Strange at some point, not as a major villain of course, but as a guy who works in Arkham or has connections with J. Arkham.

I hope to see Arkham play a major part in the sequels and I would also love for the movie to go into Arkham's history at some point as it was told in A Serious House on Serious Earth. When I say that, I don't mean the flashbacks covering Amadeus Arkham's saga or anything, but just to have a scene covering the backstory, to really display the asylum's significance to Gotham and to Batman.

Well i think it will be used heavily due to the fact that the viewing public is in the know, as far as arkham goes.

I think maybe the asylum should be limited to a scene at the end showing Joker in a strait-jacket in his cell , laughing hysterically, and some doctor making some sort of comment, perhaps like, "I wonder what he finds so G.D. funny?"

The inmates of Arkham, led by the Joker, take over the asylum and hold the staff hostage, and their only demand is that Batman come inside. Batman journeys through the asylum confronting his deepest fears along the way.

But the book is actually two stories, the other being the story of Amadeus Arkham and the building that was his home came to be Arkham Asylum. It's an intense story, not for the faint of heart.

Seeing as how both Bale and Nolan are huge fans of the book Arkham Asylum, I wouldnt rule out the possibility of something similar to that in the future, like in the third film maybe.
