Executive producer Marc Guggenheim explains. “Every time we kill off a character on the show, it’s always incredibly hard. We’re not Game of Thrones

I wonder if the League teams up with Oliver & co. At least until they catch the murderer

Whatever happened to all the "We have Caity for 3 episodes this season-we hope to have her more than that!" talk?

I dunno.Something don't smell right about this.I'm not ready to throw roses on her grave just yet.....

flashbacks

What happened with Sarah at the end should have happened last season during Deathstroke's arc, so it looks like they corrected that. It also opens the door for Dinah Laurel to become Black Canary.

Brandon Routh did a great job as Ray Palmer and we get the true name of the city. I think he will shine as Ray Palmer than he did as Superman.

Loved seeing Roy in action as Arsenal in costume as it feels like the legacy of Young Justice lives on in him.

Sara is gonna be in the next episode as a dead body and they plan for a Sara flashback episode with the League of Assassins. Three episodes.

We don't know that for sure. We don't know what her sexual preferences were before she met Sara (Sara played for both teams after all). Anyway given how much this show uses flashbacks, we'll probably see Caity again.

I dunno about that.Tommy died and he averages one flashback per season.

We also know Sara isn't going to show up in the island stuff anymore.

COLIN DONNELL RETURNS AS TOMMY MERLYN IN A FLASHBACK; MATT WARD GUEST STARS AS SIMON LACROIX, AKA KOMODO — Lance (Paul Blackthorne) calls the Arrow (Stephen Amell) when another archer appears in town and starts skewering businessmen. Diggle (David Ramsey) uses A.R.G.U.S. to find the archer’s identity; he is a man named Simon Lacroix (guest star Matt Ward), who goes by the codename Komodo. However, the team hits a rough patch with the mission and gets help from a surprising source – Laurel (Katie Cassidy). Meanwhile, Oliver begins to worry that he hasn’t heard from Thea (Willa Holland), which forces Roy (Colton Haynes) to tell him the truth about why she left town. Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) pursues Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). In the flashback, Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) tells Oliver that Amanda Waller has ordered his first kill. As Oliver looks down the scope of the rifle, he sees the target is his best friend, Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell). Despite her promise to her sister, Laurel debates sharing a secret about Sara (Caity Lotz) with Lance. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Jake Coburn & Keto Shimizu.

From Marc Guggenheim:
You're going to see her in next episode and you're going to see her in at least one other episode. The truth is, we have stories that involve Caity Lotz and one of the beautiful parts of the show is, we do flashbacks and we still want to tell the story of what happened after Sara washed up on the shores of Lian Yu after the events of 223, the sinking of the Amazo. And how she met Nyssa, and how she joined the League of Assassins. There's still a lot of story left to be told with Sara. But we did make a contract with Caity for three episodes, so I wasn't lying and you certainly haven't seen the last of her.

The fact that
Komodo
is appearing in next week's episode (according to the solicits) makes it even more likely that we've found
Sara's killer.

so what they did was something what happen in Bones...... if you know what I mean

I haven't seen Season 1 or 2 of Arrow yet. I understood what has happened in them just need to take time to see them on Netflix.

Anyway I caught the premiere and all I have to say about that ending is...

I actually think
that was Ra's himself who shot Sara, if they are going with a pure evil Ra's. I don't think it was Komodo

Quite possibly the worst episode of the series(and my ranking has nothing to do with the ending). I give it a 3

This episode was way to much talk and not enough action, it just felt like the producers wanted to create a little shipper porn for the Olicity fanbase but given what hapenned I am guessing Olicity is going absolutely nowhere, they just want to give those people a little hope that they actually have bigger plans for them which to me is a complete and utter waste of time, especially for the first episode of the season.

In regards to the Sara thing, if they were going to kill her they should have killed her in the last episode of Season 2.

I only give the episode a rating so high of 3 because Ray Palmer was interesting and despite the stupidity of not killing Sara at the end of last season that seemed to catch me by surprise and makes me intrigued for next episode. I am probably being to generous in my rating though based on 5 minutes worth of material since the rest of the episode was pointless
